Kavinsky - Nightcall (Essenger & NINA Cover)
"Nightcall"
I'm giving you a night call to tell you how I feel
I want to drive you through the night, down the hills
I'm gonna tell you something you don't want to hear
I'm gonna show you where it's dark, but have no fear
There's something inside you
It's hard to explain
They're talking about you boy
But you're still the same
There's something inside you
It's hard to explain
They're talking about you boy
But you're still the same
I'm giving you a night call to tell you how I feel
I want to drive you through the night, down the hills
I'm gonna tell you something you don't want to hear
I'm gonna show you where it's dark, but have no fear
There's something inside you
It's hard to explain
They're talking about you boy
But you're still the same
There's something inside you
It's hard to explain
They're talking about you boy
But you're still the same
There's something inside you (there's something inside you)
It's hard to explain (it's hard to explain)

Vincent Belorgey (born July 31st, 1975), known professionally as Kavinsky, is a French musician, producer, DJ and actor. His production style is reminiscent of the electropop film soundtracks of the 1980s. Kavinsky claimed that his music is inspired by thousands of movies he watched as a young boy and that he has cherry-picked the best parts from them, consolidating them into one concept. Kavinsky has been compared to many similar French house artists including Daft Punk and Danger.
He achieved greater mainstream recognition after his song "Nightcall" was featured in the 2011 film Drive. His debut studio album, OutRun, was released in 2013.
After many years as an actor, Kavinsky's musical career started in 2005 after being inspired by his close friends Jackson Fourgeaud and Quentin Dupieux, the latter director also including Kavinsky's music in his film Steak. During this period Kavinsky produced his first single "Testarossa Autodrive" which was inspired by the Testarossa model of Ferrari (one of which Vincent drives in real life). Kavinsky presented the single to Quentin, who in turn presented it to a record label he had access to because of his filming career, and Kavinsky signed with Record Makers. Subsequently, Kavinsky went on to release three EPs on the Record Makers label: Teddy Boy in 2006, 1986 a year later, and Nightcall with Lovefoxxx of CSS in 2010. During this period, Kavinsky's fellow producer Surkin jokingly claimed in an interview that Kavinsky was his father. Kavinsky has since toured alongside Daft Punk, The Rapture, Justice, and SebastiAn in 2007. He has also been remixed by SebastiAn and other notable electro artists. The SebastiAn remix of "Testarossa Autodrive" off the 1986 EP is featured in the video games Grand Theft Auto IV and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Kavinsky's single "Nightcall" was featured in the opening credits of the film Drive, and became a major hit soon after. In December 2012 he released "ProtoVision" and on 25 February 2013 released the studio album OutRun.
Kavinsky is a character made by Vincent Belorgey that has a striking resemblance to Vincent himself but the backstory does not follow anything in Belorgey's history. Kavinsky's story is that after crashing his Testarossa in 1986, he reappeared as a zombie in 2006 to make his own electronic music. Kavinsky's songs help tell his story; Vincent claims in an interview, "'Night Call' is just about the zombie guy [who] goes to his girlfriend's house and says okay I'm not the same, we need to talk", referring to Kavinsky going back to find his girlfriend after the crash who has already moved on with her life. In interview, Kavinsky stated that the entirety of Teddy Boy was written and recorded on a Yamaha DX7, which was famous and notable for the synth-pop sound of the 1980s. Kavinsky originally started making music on an old Apple computer given to him by his friend Mr. Oizo.

[verse 1]
city fog, somewhere in those lights you’re on your phone
i should have known
saw you called, wonder why you try, i’m still alone
you’re on your own
[chorus]
disconnected, don’t know why we fell apart
the feeling sets in only after dark
[drop]
(but only after dark)
but only after dark
(but only after dark)
(but only after dark)
[verse 2]
hollow sh-ll, look me in the eyes and see i’m numb
i’ve come undone
let me go, i’m sorry that i can’t be what you want
my heart is gone
[chorus]
disconnected, don’t know why we fell apart
the feeling sets in only after dark
[drop]
(but only after dark)
but only after dark
(but only after dark)
but only after dark

Essenger stands on the cutting edge of electronic music, blending an array of influences for a sound that pays tribute to modern alt rock, EDM, and synthwave. His highly personal songwriting style and personal lyrics result in a unique style that opens new possibilities for both retro and future synth music. The artist’s adept compositional skills and production chops helped his early singles attract a significant following while racking up hundreds of thousands of streams on individual songs. Essenger soon connected with prominent labels including Seeking Blue and Monstercat, and those early successes led to an album deal with independent synthwave label FiXT Neon in late 2019.

Essenger - Downfall (feat. Lexi Norton)
[Verse 1: Essenger]
I didn't see the signs
Thought I'd found a way out
You caught me with those eyes
I'm thinkin' I should leave now
A couple words won't hurt
“So what're you doin' downtown?”
You tell me how you've been
And now my head won't slow down
[Chorus: Essenger]
I shouldn't stay
But can't help but wonder
I hate the way (I love the way)
That you pull me under
I know I've made mistakes
But this could be my downfall
You could be my downfall
You could be my downfall
[Verse 2: Lexi Norton]
I didn't mean to stare
Couldn't help but notice
A part of me still cares
But it's over and you know this
I shouldn't feel this way
You're fuckin' with my head now
A couple drinks too late
You got me thinking out loud
Chorus: Lexi Norton, Essenger, both]
I shouldn't stay (I shouldn't stay)
But can't help but wonder
I hate the way (I love the way)
That you pull me under
I know I've made mistakes
But this could be my downfall
You can be my downfall
You could be my downfall
[Bridge: Lexi Norton, Essenger]
Don't try to tell me this is nothing
Say it with your hands on my face
Don't try to tell me this is nothing
I can count the reasons with my eyes closed
Calling out your name
I'll find a reason with my eyes closed
(But I know that you'll come back to haunt me)
And you can be my downfall
(You can be my downfall)
[Chorus: Essenger, Essenger & Lexi Norton]
I shouldn't stay
But can't help but wonder
I hate the way (I love the way)
That you pull me under
I know I've made mistakes
But this could be my downfall
You could be my downfall

Essenger - Empire Of Steel (feat. Scandroid) [PRIZM Remix]
[Verse 1: Essenger]
I'm counting down the days
The future feels so distant
A lot of things have changed
And few have been resistant
Devaluation reigns
And fear of self-destruction
Adapt or be replaced
And follow their instructions
[Chorus: Scandroid]
So lay waste to all we've made
For your corporate palisade
You won't automate our roles
If we digitize our souls
A new force will intervene
Half human, half machine
And no enterprise on Earth will make us kneel
To your empire of steel
(To your empire)
[Verse 2: Essenger & Scandroid]
Recoded we'll reboot
An uprising is moving
And the power you misuse
Will soon be your undoing
We'll give you what you need
Though not quite what you were meaning
And we'll reap what you have sown
(We are the soul of this new machine)
[Chorus: Scandroid]
So lay waste to all we've made
For your corporate palisade
You won't automate our roles
If we digitize our souls
A new force will intervene
Half human, half machine
And no enterprise on Earth will make us kneel
To your empire of steel
To your empire of
[Bridge: Scandroid]
We'll give you what you need
(To your empire of steel)
And we'll reap what you have sown
(To your empire)
[Chorus: Scandroid]
So lay waste to all we've made
For your corporate palisade
You won't automate our roles
If we digitize our souls
A new force will intervene
Half human, half machine
And no enterprise on Earth will make us kneel

Scandroid is an electronic music project created by Klayton, and which previously included Varien in 2013. The project released its debut single, "Salvation Code", on August 6, 2013, which was added to the debut album Scandroid upon release. Scandroid can be described as encompassing the retro synth melodies of the 80s while still adapting to modern production, thus creating a new retro sound.
Klayton Albert (born Scott David Albert; June 17, 1969) is an American multi-instrumentalist from New York City who currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Klayton has led several bands and has performed under a variety of stage names since the early 1990s. His current projects are Celldweller and Scandroid.
Klayton - Moscow
Albert grew up in an Italian-American conservative Christian household in New York, where he attended church with his younger brother Dan and friends Buka and Klank (who would collaborate with him on a number of future music projects). Albert never had formal training on an instrument, instead picking up whatever interested him and learning it himself, He graduated from Farmington High School. Albert took one semester of music theory in college but dropped out, explaining that "all they wanted to tell me is what I could and couldn’t do according to the laws of music and I couldn’t have cared less." He eventually led to characterizing himself as being a "jack of all trades, master of none" when it came to musical instruments. The first of these instruments was the drums. In his teenage years, Albert listened to a lot of metal, only later being introduced to electronic music through bands such as Depeche Mode and Skinny Puppy. All of these would influence Klayton's musical output in the early and mid 1990s, as he melded heavy guitars with layered samples and synths in the handful of industrial metal bands that he formed. In later years, Klayton has referenced European drum'n'bass and Goa/psychedelic trance as influential on the sound of his project Celldweller.
Though Klayton's numerous projects in the early and mid 1990s were signed to Christian record labels and are generally considered Christian bands, Klayton took great pains to distance himself from that distinction and that subculture in the later 1990s by splitting from the CCM industry and forgoing any further performances at Christian venues. He described this move and the reasoning behind it to great length in a 1998 interview with Christian metal publication HM Magazine and has reiterated his stance in more recent Celldweller interviews. Klayton has stated repeatedly that he is a fan of Godzilla and the Kaiju genre in general. In an interview with Bloody Discusting, Klayton said that David Fincher's audio commentary on the films Seven and Fight Club have inspired him to record his own audio commentaries for his Beta Cession releases for Wish Upon a Blackstar. On September 16, 2017, he posted his wedding picture on Facebook. He has three sons. Immortal was a thrash metal band that put out one demo cassette in the late 1980s. It was this cassette that got the attention of R.E.X. Records, who would later sign Klayton's band Circle of Dust. Dan (lvl) was also a member of Immortal.
Essenger - Get Your Wish
Essenger - Get Your Wish
Klayton's primary band throughout the 1990s was Circle of Dust, an industrial metal outfit he formed in 1990. Circle of Dust got signed to R.E.X. Records, a small label that concerned itself primarily with underground Christian metal in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Despite heavy touring and some notable success in the underground industrial metal scene, Circle of Dust released only two proper albums, those being a self-titled debut in 1992 and a posthumous collection called Disengage in 1998. In between the times of those releases, Klayton created two notable side projects under various aliases and with various collaborators. The first of these was Brainchild, formed with the president of R.E.X. Records, Doug Mann. The only Brainchild album, Mindwarp, was released shortly after the debut Circle of Dust album in 1992 and featured even heavier thrash metal influences. Later, in 1994, the Mindwarp album was re-issued as a Circle of Dust album titled Brainchild to take advantage of a new distribution deal R.E.X. had signed without having to write and record a new album. That same year, Klayton co-formed, along with the mysterious musician Buka, the supergroup Argyle Park, arguably the most controversial Christian industrial metal band in the short history of the genre. Argyle Park produced one album, Misguided, which was released to both high acclaim and heavy criticism in 1995 and featured a number of collaborators from mainstream industrial rock bands and Christian rock bands alike. 1995 would prove to be a busy and chaotic year for Klayton; he toured and released a complete re-recording of the self-titled Circle of Dust album while R.E.X., it turned out, was losing its distribution deal. This caused the label, who refused to release any of their signed bands from contract, to slide into bankruptcy. Essentially, Circle of Dust was trapped on a sinking ship, unable to record and release new music but also prevented from signing to any other label. Later that year, Klayton decided to end Circle of Dust and find new means of creating and releasing music.

Essenger & Young Medicine - Lost Boys
[Verse 1: Essenger]
Save yourself, leave me here
Tie me down and disappear
Tell them nothing, don't make a sound, taste your fear as the sun does down
And the shadows fill the night
[Chorus: Young Medicine]
Yeah, save yourself, you'll burn in Hell
For what you've done but never die
One day you'll stand for something
So fear yourself, no soul to sell
Nowhere to run, now you know why
Lost boys don't cry for nothing
[Verse 2: Essenger]
Time is up, your days are few
Fate's unkind to those like you
Pick your poison, I'll hunt you down, dig your grave at the edge of town
Not a trace left to be found
[Chorus: Young Medicine]
Yeah, save yourself, you'll burn in Hell
For what you've done but never die
One day you'll stand for something
So fear yourself, no soul to sell
Nowhere to run, now you know why
Lost boys don't cry for nothing
[Bridge: Young Medicine]
You know we run this town at night (Thou shalt not fall)
It's one for all and you won't find us dead by daylight
It's what it means to be alive (Thou shalt not fall)
From hell we crawl and tonight we ride by moonlight
[Chorus: Essenger & Young Medicine]
Yeah, save yourself, you'll burn in Hell
For what you've done but never die
One day you'll stand for something
So fear yourself, no soul to sell
Nowhere to run, now you know why
Lost boys don't cry for nothing

Pylot
Since founding the project in 2015, PYLOT has established himself as one of the most innovative and recognizable creators in and around the world of synthwave. The artist handles cyberpunk and science fiction themes with remarkable subtlety and attention to detail, creating atmospheric soundscapes filled with lush synth melodies and energizing rhythms. By combining influences from modern EDM, synthwave, and scores for film and movie soundtracks, PYLOT has carved out a personal style that is sometimes aggressive, sometimes thoughtful, and always compelling. The PYLOT project is deeply rooted in a narrative format, with each new release accompanied by artwork by Mike Yakovlev as well as episodic stories that listeners can enjoy on the artist’s website. It’s safe to say that PYLOT is creating true art with his music, and the dedication to his craft is evident in all aspects of the project. The five-track release was an unqualified success, gaining millions of streams and attracting a large fanbase in the process. A series of independently release singles followed, this time with an even more exploratory mindset, as PYLOT pushed his style deeper into more personal and more groundbreaking territory. At the start of 2019, PYLOT signed with the well respected synthwave label, FiXT Neon. It’s a match made in synth heaven, and fans are sure to enjoy the results as FiXT Neon and PYLOT prepare to release the artist’s ambitious second EP, Solai.

[Verse 1]
It’s pretty clear there’s something on your mind
It’s hard to wait while we’re running out of time
I want to disconnect and run from all the things that bring you down so low
A light shines in the darkness, purified
[Chorus]
You and I
Sanctified

(You and I) You and I
(Purified) Purified
(In the light) In the light
[Verse 2]
It’s pretty clear that things are not the same
It’s hard to smile while we’re buried in our shame
I want to shake the streets and all the incomplete that bring us down so low

Scandroid - Thriller (PYLOT Remix)
Never one to shy away from creative experimentation, Scandroid amplifies his unique approach to synthwave with a rich blend of genre influences on the new album, The Light. Following the gentle synth nostalgia of the intro track, "Into the Light," Scandroid takes listeners through one of the most extraordinary tracklists in the genre to date, combining authentic ‘80s elements with contemporary production for a diverse and consistently exciting listening experience. From the synthpop stylings of "Writing’s on the Wall" and "Purified" to the post-punk vibes of "Everywhere You Go" and the chilled-out introspection of "I Remember You," Scandroid surprises listeners at every turn. The Light further reveals the magnitude of Scandroid’s songwriting skills while crafting a selection of music that flows effortlessly across it’s running time. In addition to seven original tracks, The Light includes a selection of thrilling remixes from established and up-and-coming artists alike, including Lucy in Disguise, Fury Weekend, Tommy ‘86, PRIZM, and Turboslash. The Light is the follow-up to last year’s The Darkness, and together the recordings pave the way to the full release of Scandroid’s highly-anticipated double album, The Darkness and the Light, due in 2020.

[Verse 1]
You said a lot last night
But I, I'm pretty sure you didn't speak at all
You say it's all alright
But I, I feel I'm talking to an empty wall
[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause we keep getting lost in the translation
I wonder if we're speaking the same language
How did it get so overcomplicated
Somehow...
[Chorus]
Yeah
We could be away
On the PCH right now
Waking up too late
Wasting days until sundown
But you
Can't even stay in the same room, yeah
'Cause you've been sleeping on the couch
Rolling over with the lights out
I just wanna talk
All this silence getting so loud
Said you never meant to hurt me
But I felt you lying
Every time you said you heard me
[Verse 2]
We said we'd try our best
I guess it didn't end up quite the way we'd hoped
We're hanging by a thread
I never thought we'd watch it all
Blow up in smoke
[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause we keep getting lost in the translation
I wonder if we're speaking the same language
How did it get so overcomplicated
Somehow...
[Chorus]
Yeah
We could be away
On the PCH right now
Waking up too late
Wasting days until sundown
But you
Can't even stay in the same room, yeah
'Cause you've been sleeping on the couch

For a life that sets us free
And just when you think you're sinking
You will rise to victory
You will rise to victory, you will rise to victory
You will rise to victory, you will rise to victory
I won't lose the faith in what they stole
Hold on before you let it go
Miles and miles we're chasing dreams
Living with our young hearts free
Miles and miles we're chasing dreams
Living with our young hearts free
And we'll dance in a sea of rainbows
For a life that sets us free
And just when you think you're sinking
You will rise to victory
You will rise to victory, you will rise to victory
You will rise to victory, you will rise to victory
Sound Remedy
Sound Remedy is an American electronic music producer based out of Los Angeles, California. Hailing from Chicago, SR has been crafting his sound since the young age of 16, but only started to produce music full time a few years ago. Despite obtaining a degree in finance from one of the nation’s elite business schools, SR opted to take a risk and pursue his true passion; music. Being that both of his parents are graduates of Julliard School of Music and full time Chicago Symphony Orchestra players, this decision may have been on the cards all along. Sound Remedy has made a name for himself by composing tracks that defy the laws of the traditional dance music sound. His epic creations can be likened to enthralling musical journeys that captivate the listener from start to finish. There is truly no end in sight when it comes to the rapid growth of the Sound Remedy movement.

On My Own versuri 3LAU
Dancing through a hurricane
Soaked in technicolor rain
Time is melting in my brain
Paint the roses black as night
Swimming with the satellites
Never wanna know
Never wanna let go
No don’t wake me yet
Don’t give it away
Hold my breath
I just wanna stay and…
Lose myself tonight
I’m drifting away
Through the flashing lights
I just wanna stay
Out here alone I can dance on my own ohhh
And I can’t wait no more
I’m drifting away
What you waiting for
I just wanna stay
Out here alone we can dance on our own ohhh
Take me where the stars run free
Spin me through the galaxy
Hold me in the flow never wanna let go
No don’t wake me yet
Don’t give it away
Hold my breath
I just wanna stay and see what’s next
Meet me halfway
Hold our breath…
Lose myself tonight
I’m drifting away
Through the flashing lights
I just wanna stay
Out here alone I can dance on my own ohhh
And I can’t wait no more
I’m drifting away
What you waiting for
I just wanna stay
Out here alone we can dance on our own oh
Give me just one reason why we can’t believe our eyes
Running with the season til it makes us realize we
Got it all we
Got it all for us
I can’t wait to see the sun arriving with the rain
Take my hand we’re diving into passionate terrain
Got it all we
Got it all for us
Lose myself tonight
I’m drifting away
Through the flashing lights
I just wanna stay
Out here alone
I can dance on my own oh
And I can’t wait no more
I’m drifting away
What you waiting for
I just wanna stay
Out here alone we can dance on our own oh
3LAU
Justin David Blau (born January 9, 1991), better known by his stage name 3LAU (pronounced "Blau"), is an American DJ and electronic dance music producer. Raised in New York and Las Vegas 3LAU left Washington University in St. Louis, where he studied finance, and the promise of a career in business to pursue his dream of making music. He went on to release a string of well-received original tracks, including “How You Love Me,” “Is It Love,” “Fire,” “On My Mind,” and “Hot Water,” as well as remixes for Rihanna, Katy Perry, Shawn Mendes, and Ariana Grande - all of which have racked up millions of streams. Recent collaborations include world-famous gamer Ninja and HYO of Girls' Generation. 3LAU also built his reputation as a must see live performer, appearing at such major festivals as Electric Zoo, EDC Vegas, Lollapalooza, and Life Is Beautiful, and tours extensively internationally.

Justin David Blau was born in Syosset, New York, United States on January 9, 1991. Blau grew up around an artistic family, and was soon playing piano, playing guitar and singing. At thirteen, he moved with his family to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he spent the rest of his youth. He attended The Meadows School for high school and Washington University in St. Louis for college. Much of 3LAU's music incorporates electro house, dubstep, deep house, and progressive house. He is known for his melodic take on dance music and live sets that incorporate sampling.
The emotional purpose of his style of songwriting, Blau says, is to inspire others to overcome their sense of feeling lost. “Every song is somehow about being lost in some way, whether that's in love, in life, in mental health, whatever it may be. Sometimes the lyrics shed light on the brighter parts, but in many ways, I write as a means to try to combat that feeling of being lost and I hope the music can do that for someone else.”
In 2011, at the age of 20, he vacationed in Sweden, where he discovered electronic dance music. After returning to college he started producing mashups, "mainly because [he] didn't think anyone was doing a good job." He soon began mixing under the professional name 3LAU, and by June of that year was uploading mashups to YouTube. 3LAU gained recognition in the electronic music world in 2011 with his two bootlegs, "Girls Who Save the World" and "All Night Long". He also won a remix competition for his remix of Tiesto's "Work Hard, Play Hard". In the summer of 2015, 3LAU did his first European tour visiting Barcelona, Germany and Ibiza. Later that fall, he went on his first Asian tour which included Bangkok, Jakarta, Tokyo and more. In 2016 3LAU launched Blume Records, an independent label with a ground-breaking model that harnesses the power of streaming to raise money for charitable causes. 3LAU stated, "Hopefully we can inspire other people to act and there will be this domino effect."
“It started as me sort of messing around in college playing frat shows…then all of a sudden I was getting booking inquiries left and right. I was just a DJ at that point. Since the time of getting bigger and now I have been learning (how to produce) through friends spending most of my time in the studio. After two years of time sitting in the studio I can now say ‘ok, now I have something that is comparable to all the great stuff out there.’ I am not going to release something that is half-assed like I would say 95% of, even already established, producers do.” As of right now 3LAU has yet to release a track, but this will all change in the end of June after one year of work: “I have been sitting on this track, which is my first release, for a year. It has been a year-long project for me. The track is coming out on Hardwell’s label, Revealed, towards the end of June.”
3LAU is a part of a new generation of up-and coming DJs. This is a generation that has thrust themselves into fame, mainly by using the internet to their benefit: “Most DJs and producers that are big right now were really good in the beginning and then a manager found them and developed them. My story is a lot different. I exploded from viral internet things, and now I am playing catchup.”
Alongside time playing gigs around the country and working in the studio 3LAU has also put a lot of work into charity. He works with the non-profit Pencils of Promise to help build schools in South America. His work is not “publicity-based” as he says many other DJs charity work is. “I was really excited to go to Guatemala. I have always been involved in charity my whole life. When I got into music, I took a long pause from charity in order to work on my music career. Then when I got to a point when I felt like I had just enough influence to be able to do something I said ‘screw it, lets go, lets do something.’ It got pretty big at first, but in the last 8 months it got way bigger.

We are going to be doing some more really awesome work with Pencils of Promise.”
I was then curious about how he approaches a mashup. A lot of people seem to look down at mashups as something that doesn’t require very much work. Seeing as 3LAU rose to fame rising the backs of his killer mashups, I figured I would ask how he approaches a mashup. “A lot of people are critical of mashups but what people don’t understand is that there is a reason why people like it and it isn’t very easy to do successfully, and perfectly. For me mashups never really come about in the same way. For instance, I love the vocal on I Knew You Were Trouble, I have no shame in admitting that (laughs). I think Taylor (Swift) killed it. Do I like the track? No, it’s terrible. But the vocal is so catchy. So I decided I was going to find something that worked, so I could play it live. I took different pieces of different instrumentals, layer it, mix it and then you have a finished product that everybody is going to like more than the original because it is actually better than the original as a song. Will it be as big as the original? No, because there is no marketing behind it, it’s a free release. But is it a better song? Yes. Is it my song? No, it is a mixture of things I really like. It is not like I am just sitting at my Ableton project and I drag two things together and then boom I have a mashup.” It also just so happens that Justin Blau hails from Las Vegas which is quickly turning into one of the hottest spots for dance music in the United States.
Taylor Swift
“I am beyond lucky to happen to end up there. We moved there when I was 13. I wasn’t going to be a DJ back then but now that I am it has been massively beneficial to my career. You can’t compare Vegas to anywhere else. It is sin, it is greed, it is everybody’s dreams and nightmares packaged into a vacation deal on expedia. But, it is ‘dreamland’. For electronic music, Vegas is going to continue to grow and will beat Europe instantaneously because there is more money, thats the bottom line.“ So what’s in the works for 3LAU? Whats next? “I just finished a long tour and this summer is just going to be music making. I am doing like 7 or 8 festivals and a lot of my time is going to be in the studio. I have at least 10 tracks. I have been saving the first one because I think it is the best. The rest are unfinished. I have a few tracks that are close to done but a lot of stuff has to happen between the 95% point and the 100% point in a track. A lot of stuff that isn’t even audible to the average person, but to me they are, I am a pretty big perfectionist when it comes to that sort of stuff.” 3LAU is one of the most promising talents in electronic music. He understands what it means to be a DJ and to be a producer, and that will go a long way for him. Be sure to look out for his original productions the first of which will be out on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings at the end of June. Article by Jacob Marmor - May 24th 2013.

Walking out to lose myself, eyes down low
Take my mind to somewhere else, where I'm all alone
But then you step outta the stone faced crowd
Like a wave's come crashing in, made the whirlpool spin, n' you lift me out
(You're so magnetic, yeah you're so you're so magnetic) x8
Magnetic eyes
There's no going back you've pulled me in to the night
Magnetic eyes
Closer till our broken hearts collide
Split apart by frozen miles of wind and rain
I can feel your desert heat pulling again
But then you step outta the stone faced crowd
Like a wave's come crashing in, made the whirlpool spin, n' you lift me out...
Blue!
You're so magnetic your army is a soldier
Like a force from out of this world you pull me closer
Barriers blown apart, you're still a world afar
I think i'm drowning in the pool of hearts
But then you step outta the stone faced crowd
Like a wave's come crashing in, made the whirlpool spin, n' you lift me out...
N' you lift me out
N' you lift me out
N' you lift me out
N' you lift me out
(You're so magnetic, yeah you're so you're so magnetic) x8

Baby Blue is an English rapper and singer from London, England. She is known for her work with singer Estelle and collaborations with John Legend, Madness, Sway, Shystie, Ms. Dynamite and Lady Sovereign. Baby Blue has a sound that fuses hip hop with grime, R&B and soul.
Baby Blue started rapping while at school and eventually recorded a track called 'I Woulda', which was inspired by her cousin's gang-related death in the US. The track received heavy rotation and was the start of Baby Blue's career as a recording artist. When she was 19 she sent her music to UK artist Estelle, who immediately invited Baby Blue to New York City to record the song 'Hey Girl' featuring John Legend, as well as 'Don't Talk', another track for Estelle's début album The 18th Day, which was certified gold in the UK and she was also featured rapping in the video for the hit top 20 track 1980. Later that year, Blue released the mixtape 'Out of the Blue Vol I' (with Volume II released two years later) which featured Estelle, members of So Solid Crew, Shystie, Sway, and Akala. Her song solo music video was for the single 'Sometimes,' which was released to push Vol II of the mixtape. This led Mobo Magazine to dub her "The Uncrowned Queen of the UK" and MTV to list her as "one of the hottest up 'n' coming stars".

Joel Hirsch & Sara Skinner - Your Reckless Heart
[Verse 1]
We could get caught in a moment
You and I lost in our own land
Close your eyes now, you are in your own head
Infinite love for your wild mind
Your soul is like rain in the sunshine
Don't be scared burning out, 'cause you burn bright
[Chorus]
I don't wanna tame your fire
We could watch the flames grow higher
And I'll hold you when you fall apart
You're the kind of love I'm craving
I want you when you're down and crazy
Will you let me in your reckless heart?
Your reckless heart
[Refrain]
I don't wanna tame your reckless heart
I want you to stay the way you are
You're reckless
[Drop]
You're reckless, you're reckless
[Refrain]
I don't wanna tame your reckless heart
(I don't wanna tame your reckless heart)
I want you to stay the way you are
(How I want you to stay the way you are)
[Chorus]
I don't wanna tame your fire
And we could watch the flames grow higher
And I'll hold you when you fall apart
(You're reckless)
You're the kind of love I'm craving
I want you when you're down and crazy
Will you let me in your reckless heart?
You're reckless
[Drop]
Your reckless heart
Will you let me in your reckless heart?
Your reckless

Don't make this complicated
That shit is overrated
You got me so frustrated
Walking the line
This hole your mind created
It keeps you isolated
My body just can't take it
Most of the time
Say you're fine
Don't you lie, I know ya
I know ya too well
Give you time
I'm on your side, you know that
It's never enough for you, oh
But it isn't up to me, no
I dunno whatcha need
I dunno whatcha need
Oh way oh way oh way oh way
You are, you are, uh oh
Mr. Emotional
You are, you are, uh oh
Mr. Emotional
Ey
We're going off and I can't breathe
Cause you never tell me whatcha need
You are, you are, uh oh
Mr. Emotional
Your moods change with the seasons
There on some type of sequence
You never need a reason
Don't wanna change
Say you're fine
Don't you lie, I know ya
I know ya too well
Give you time
I'm on your side, you know that
It's never enough for you, oh
But it isn't up to me, no
I dunno whatcha need
I dunno whatcha need
Oh way oh way oh way oh way
You are, you are, uh oh
Mr. Emotional
You are, you are, uh oh
Mr. Emotional
Ey
We're going off and I can't breathe
Cause you never tell me whatcha need
You are, you are, uh oh
Mr. Emotional
You and I
We're like chemicals
That don't combine
I can't fix you even if I tried
We're going off and I can't breathe
Cause you never tell me whatcha need
You are, you are, uh oh
