Julie Bergan - Kiss Somebody (with Seeb) (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)

Sometimes I cry, we all know why
It's like there's no good in goodbye, so we push it away
People will try, say "Don't worry, it's fine
Just go give it some time, don't you know what it takes"

So get out of bed
Forget everything that you had
Go on and find someone else
Sometimes you just gotta kiss somebody
Yeah
Sometimes it's all in your head
Sometimes it's hard to forget
Sometimes you just gotta kiss somebody

Make out with her
Make out, make out with him
Make out, make out
Just kiss somebody, kiss somebody, kiss somebody
Make out with her
Make out, make out with him
Make out, make out
Just kiss somebody, kiss somebody, kiss somebody

Sometimes you'll lose
You might feel like a fool
Maybe it ain't possible
Thought you'd never let him go
It's truth or dare
When that…

So get out of bed
Forget everything that you had
Go on and find someone else
Sometimes you just gotta kiss somebody
Yeah
Sometimes it's all in your head
Sometimes it's hard to forget
Sometimes you just gotta kiss somebody

Make out with her
Make out, make out with him
Make out, make out
Just kiss somebody, kiss somebody, kiss somebody
Make out with her
Make out, make out with him
Make out, make out
Just kiss somebody, kiss somebody, kiss somebody

Make out with her
Make out, make out with him
Make out, make out with her
Make out, make out with him
Make out, make out (oh)
Just kiss somebody, kiss somebody, kiss somebody (somebody)
Make out with her (kiss somebody)
Make out, make out with him (kiss somebody)
Make out, make out (oh)
Just kiss somebody, kiss somebody, kiss somebody

Alec Benjamin - If We Have Each Other [Official Music Video]

She was 19 with a baby on the way
On the East-side of the city, she was working every day
Cleaning dishes in the evening, she could barely stay awake
She was clinging to the feeling that her luck was gonna change
And, 'cross town she would take the bus at night
To a one bedroom apartment, and when she'd turn on the light
She would sit down at the table, tell herself that it's alright
She was waiting on the day she hoped her baby would arrive
She'd never be alone
Have someone to hold
And when nights were cold
She'd say

The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad
If we got each other, and that's all we have
I will be your mother, and I'll hold your hand
You should know I'll be there for you
When the world's not perfect
When the world's not kind
If we have…

They were 90 and were living out their days
On the West-side of the city next to where they got engaged
They had pictures on the walls of all the memories that they'd made
And though life was never easy, they were thankful that they stayed
With each other, and though some times were hard
Even when she made him angry he would never break her heart
No, they didn't have the money to afford a fancy car
But they never had to travel 'cause they'd never be apart
Even at the end
Their love was stronger than
The day that they first met
They'd say

The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad
If we got each other, and that's all we have
I will be your lover, and I'll hold your hand
You should know I'll be there for you
When the world's not perfect
When the world's not kind
If we have each other then we'll both be fine
I will be your lover, and I'll hold your hand
You should know I'll be there for you

You should know I'll be there for you

I'm 23, and my folks are getting old
I know they don't have forever and I'm scared to be alone
So I'm thankful for my sister, even though sometimes we fight
When high school wasn't easy, she's the reason I survived
I know she'd never leave me and I hate to see her cry
So I wrote this verse to tell her that I'm always by her side
I wrote this verse to tell her that I'm always by her side
I wrote this verse to tell her that

The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad
If we got each other, and that's all we have
I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand
You should know I'll be there for you
When the world's not perfect
When the world's not kind
If we have each other then we'll both be fine
I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand
You should know I'll be there for you

You should know I'll be there for you

Alec Shane Benjamin (born May 28th, 1994) is an American singer-songwriter from
Phoenix, Arizona. He has gained popularity from his pop songs  that depict
descriptive stories from his own personal experiences. He also gained much
attention from his demos. In addition, to his solo project, Benjamin has found
success in songwriting with artists such as Jon Bellion,  including a songwriting
credit on the track "New York Soul (Part II)" from Bellion's album 'The Human
Condotion'.  He is heavily influenced by artists such as Eminem, John Mayer, Paul
Simon and Ben Gibbard. In 2019, he recorded two singles with Spotify Studios NYC,
one of them being a cover of Eminem's song, "Stan." Initially, Alec Benjamin
signed to Columbia Records, whilst still being enrolled at USC. However, Columbia
Records then ended their partnership, before he was able to submit his album.
Despite this, he used other methods to gain a following: he performed his songs in
parking lots outside Shawn Mendes and Troye Sivan  concerts and handed out
business cards to promote his work. He is considered to be a self-made artist;
someone who had started from nowhere.

Alice Phoebe Lou - Witches (official video)

You've got this golden way
Of making my body sway
Of making my mind fly away
Of making it fly

It's a world I love to be in
Come on let's go high above the ceiling
Oh what we could be feeling
Oh what we could be feeling

I'm one of those witches babe
I'm one of those witches babe
Just don't try to save me, please
I don't wanna be saved

I'm one of those witches babe
I'm one of those witches babe
Just don't try to save me, please
I don't wanna be saved

Me I've got my own little magic
And I'm not tryna wreak havoc
It's just that sometimes I see something
And I just need to have it

Let's share a few dirty habits
Let's share a few dirty habits

Last night when you pulled through
I put a spell on the moon
It was three times the size
In your moonlit eyes

And I sang you…

I'm one of those witches babe
I'm one of those witches babe
Just don't try to save me, please
I don't wanna be saved

I'm one of those witches babe
I'm one of those witches babe
Just don't try to save me, please
I don't wanna be saved

Yultron x Gammer - Sleep at Night [Official Music Video]

I was staying up till sunrise
I was seeing red in my eyes
And I wasn't even high
Till I found you
Mind with a million thought race
Bottle of Ambi in case
And losing my count of days
Till I found you
Till I found
Till I found
Till I found you
Till I found
Till I found
Till I found out
When I'm with you
I can go to sleep at night
You make me feel like I'm alright
And when the earth is spinning out of our control
If I'm with you
I can go to sleep at night
At night
At night
At night
At night
Night
Night
Night
I can go to sleep at night
Now I don't need a sunrise
I see a light in your eyes
And I couldn't get more high
Cause I got you
Moving my stuff to your place
I fall asleep to your face
Losing my count of…

Yultron

Yultron-web-1993.jpg
y0ycB7F__400x400.jpg

Every once in a while, an artist comes along who causes us to pause for a moment and wonder, “Why in the hell do we even have genres?” Los Angeles–born, Vegas–satelliting Yultron is a musician of such versatility whose path more resembles the forked blaze of a lighting bolt than any sort of linear progression. Cutting his teeth via classical training in piano and violin as a lad, he moved on to rock groups in college, rap/hip-hop collaborations with YG & Honey Cocaine, and his own now-infamous early experimentation blending alternative hooks within hip-hop frameworks (Skywalker mixtape, 2013). Indeed, role descriptors need to be reshuffled to describe this multitalented emcee, remixer, straight-up rapper, producer, and DJ who has of late turned to address EDM full-time, never deviating from his original operating premise: “Why not create something that hasn’t been done?”

Having only produced for three years, Yultron has also gained support from veteran acts such as Flosstradamus and Jack U who play out his songs in major festivals around the world. his variety of taste in production ranges from bass music to electro house and his integration of all these different genres translates in his live shows as well. From Fall 2016 into Winter 2017 Yultron toured around the USA and Canada on the Marshmello tour as well as the Getter, Snails, Slushii while simultaneously heading his own shows around the world. Yultron had his own slot at Storm Music Festival. Yultron’s first release of 2017 “Make Electro Great Again” was added to many notable Spotify Playlists and is on course to reach 1.6 million streams soon. Yultron also has some major releases coming up this year including a single with Insomniac Records and consecutive releases with Spinnin Records featuring Bone Thugs and Jay Park and the other with Snoop Dogg and Elly from the J Soul Brothers.

Matthew Lee (born 1985 in Northampton), known professionally by his stage name Gammer, is an English music producer and DJ. He is best known for his association with UK hardcore, of which he is described as an icon. He is also the co-founder of the Together We Rise record label, which is dedicated to hardcore music.
Regarded as one of the most prolific producers in the United Kingdom hardcore scene, Gammer initially began his musical career as a hard dance producer before switching to hardcore. He has also produced many UK hardcore songs under the name Matt Lee. One track in particular, Go, caught the attention of Andy Whitby, who signed him to AWsum. Gammer first appeared in the hardcore scene in 2002 and has
since released songs under the Essential Platinum label. A large majority of his songs on the label come from collaborations with Dougal, the label's founder who discovered him, although he also released under his own label, Muffin Music. He also releases with other artists of the hardcore genre, such as Hixxy and Darren Styles. His songs have also appeared in compilation albums, such as Bonkers. In
2006, Gammer released A New Feeling, which was awarded "Song of the Year" at the Hardcore Heaven Awards. In April 2007, he founded Muffin Music, releasing a promotional mix. Between 2008 and 2012, he was awarded "Hardcore DJ of the Year", an award previously held by Darren Styles. His 2010 award is shared with Dougal.
In 2016, he participated with Styles at the 20th edition of the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. The pair would also headline the Darren Styles b2b Gammer event in 2017.

Gorillaz - Aries ft. Peter Hook & Georgia (Episode Three)

"Aries"
(feat. Georgia, Peter Hook)

Aries

I'm looking out at a volcano
Trying to read the world today and see where you're at
I'll never do that
I'm a model that is uncomplicated
You can play a happy tune on me, but don't turn me off
'Cause then I am silenced

I'm standing on a beach in the distance
And even though you're far away, can you see my red light?
It's waiting to turn green
'Cause I feel so isolated without you
I can't play a happy tune on my own, so stay by my side
High or low tide

High tide, high tide, high tide, high tide
High tide, high tide, high tide, high tide, high
And it feels like I'm falling in, again
My side, my side, my side, my side
My side, my side, my side, high tide, high
Feels like I'm falling in, again

I'm a model that is uncomplicated
You can play a happy tune on me, but don't turn me off
'Cause then I am silenced

High tide, high tide, high tide, high tide
High tide, high tide, high tide, high tide, high
And it feels like I'm falling in, again
My side, my side, my side, my side
My side, my side, my side, high tide, high
Feels like I'm falling in, again

Gorillaz are a British virtual band created in 1998 by Damon Albarn and artist
Jamie Hewlett. The band primarily consists of four animated members: Stuart "2-D"
Pot, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs. Their fictional universe  is
presented in music videos, interviews and short cartoons. In reality, Albarn is
the only permanent musical contributor, and he often collaborates with other
musicians. Remi Kabaka Jr, became producer for the band in 2016 after several
years providing the voice of Russel Hobbs  and was listed as an A&R producer
alongside Albarn and Hewlett in the 2019 Gorillaz documentary Gorillaz: Reject
False Icons. With Gorillaz, Albarn departed from the distinct BritPop of his band Blur through hip hop, electronic music, and world music through an "eccentrically postmodern" approach. The band's 2001 debut album Gorillaz  went triple platinum in the UK and double platinum in Europe and earned the group an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records as the Most Successful Virtual Band. It was nominated for the Mercury Prize, but the nomination was withdrawn at the band's request. Their second studio album, Demon Days (2005), went 6 times platinum in the UK and double platinum in the US.

Peter Hook (born Peter Woodhead; 13th February 1956) is an English singer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He is best known as the bassist and co-founder of English rock bands Joy Division and New Order. Hook often used the bass as a lead instrument, playing melodies on the high strings with a signature heavy chorus effect. In New Order, he would do this, leaving the actual basslines to keyboards or sequencers. Hook formed the band which was to become Joy Division with Bernard Summer in 1976. Following the death of lead singer Ian Curtis in 1980, the band reformed as New Order, and Hook played bass with them until 2007.

Nora En Pure & Lika Morgan - In the Air Tonight (Official Video)

I can feel it comin' in the air tonight
Oh Lord
I've been waitin' for this moment for all my life
Oh Lord
Can you feel it comin' in the air tonight?
Oh Lord, oh Lord
(Can you feel it comin' in the air tonight?)
(Oh Lord, oh Lord)

Well if you told me you were drownin'
I would not lend a hand
I've seen your face before my friend
But I don't know if you know who I am
I was there and I saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off the grin, I know where you've been
It's all been a pack of lies

I can feel it comin' in the air tonight
Oh Lord
I've been waitin' for this moment for all my life
Oh Lord
Can you feel it comin' in the air tonight?
Oh Lord, oh Lord
(Can you feel it coming in the air tonight?)
(Oh Lord, oh Lord)

Well I remember, I remember,…

I can feel it comin' in the air tonight
Oh Lord
I've been waitin' for this moment for all my life
Oh Lord
I can feel it comin' in the air tonight
Oh Lord
I've been waitin' for this moment for all my life
Oh Lord, oh Lord

Beach Bunny - April (Official Audio)

April showers, rain starts falling
I wish that you would pick up when you know I'm calling
It's been another year
Wishing you were here

Sometimes I just want somebody
Someone that reminds me that they'll always love me
Sick of counting tears
Wishing you were here

I wanna be everything you wanted
But often times, I just get forgotten
I'm all alone

Are you out there? I'm still here
I wish that when I said your name you would appear
Sitting next to me
Now we're memories

Sometimes I just want somebody
Someone who reminds me that they'll always love me
Sick of counting tears
Wishing you were here

I wanna be everything you wanted
But often times, I…

Are you out there somewhere?
What are you up to?
Have you changed your number?
I've been trying to call you
Since April and now it's October
I'm not over thinkin'
But I think about you a lot
And maybe I am just an afterthought

Where did you go?
Where did you go?

Peach Pit - Black Licorice (Official Video)

If you don't even wanna say my name anymore, that's fine
'Cause I'm so wasted, I don't mind
Wait a little and you will see I can be that guy
Straight up wasted on a dime

I'm just black licorice
And all the people that I know
Would rather leave me in the bowl

Chuckie knows he'll have to carry me home and he'll say, "that's fine"
But he's my baby, he won't mind
Ali goes it just like me but she's on a stride
Of keeping her shit right in line , unlike mine

I'm just black licorice
And all the people that I…

I'm just black licorice
And all the people that I know
Would rather leave me in the bowl

Peach Pit is an indie pop band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The band
is led by singer and rhythm guitarist Neil Smith, lead guitarist Christopher
Vanderkooy, bassist Peter Wilton, and drummer Mikey Pascuzzi. They describe their
own music as "chewed bubblegum pop", whereas critics have described their sound as
sad pop, and surf rock and is characterized by a soft spoken vocal style and
guitar driven rock melodies. The band's music videos are produced by videographer
Lester Lyons-Hookham. The band sported the same clothes for every live performance
during their "Being So Normal" album phase after buying them for their first music
video shoot. The group formed when high school friends, Neil Smith and Chris
Vanderkooy, decided to collaborate on a musical project in 2014. Peter Wilton and
Mikey Pascuzzi joined them on bass and drums. In June 2016, the band released its
debut EP, Sweet FA, produced and recorded by Smith's former roommate Harley Small
at The Space Studios in Vancouver BC. They quickly began work on their follow up
release and debut LP, Being So Normal. The album was again produced and recorded
by Harley Small at The Space Studios  and was released in September 2017 on the
Vancouver indie label Kingfisher Bluez. Vocalist/rhythm guitarist Neil Smith was
formerly part of the folk band Dogwood and Dahlia. Smith and bassist Peter Wilton
formerly worked as Amazon delivery drivers, guitarist Christopher Vanderkooy
worked at a local Vancouver brewery, and drummer Mikey Pascuzzi worked as a
carpenter. The band quit their jobs to go on their first tour of North America,
Europe and Asia from 2017-2018. They have been touring steadily ever since the
release of their debut album. Peach Pit performed at Bonnaroo, Shaky Knees Music Festival, CBC Music Festival, and Capital Hill Block Party in 2019, and opened for Two Door Cinema Club in a tour of the U.S. and Canada in 2019. "You and Your Friends" is their sophomore album, released on April 3rd/2020.

Donna Missal - Jupiter (Official Video)

Our love is for real
How'd it take a long long time
To let us feel
I try to relate in my state
But the aura around me says
Our love is for real

Baby baby baby

Wanna be in love
Baby baby baby
I been waiting waiting waiting
My whole life for someone like you

Touching your face
How'd it take a long long time
To be here
Turning the wheel
On our street
And my heart still skips a beat
It's echoing echoing echoing

Baby baby baby
I been waiting for ya
Wanna be in love
Baby baby baby
I been waiting waiting waiting
My whole life for someone like you

It's true that everyone would like to have met
A love so real
Our love is for real

Tom Misch & Yussef Dayes - Nightrider (feat. Freddie Gibbs)

Don't listen to what they say
You can't take it slow
And when the Nightrider comes around
You gotta pick up the dough
I ride low with the setting sun
Mr. Dayes with the break of the drums
It's icy (cold)

Honey, Corvette, I be chasing you down
It's a wrap, so easily, so easily
High beam, on the dash, I be shaking you down
It's a wrap, so easily, so easily

I got a feeling that won't come down
Can't do it alone
I'll take you to the fat of the land
This is where we go
Top-down with the cruise control
Lights out with the radio on
It's crazy

Honey, Corvette, I be chasing you down
It's a wrap, so easily, so easily
High beam, on the dash, I be shaking you down
It's a wrap, so easily, so easily

Yeah, should have left the track and let it breath
Yeah, I needs a lot forgot…

Yeah, trap shit, round you
Sit your bitch right on the ground shit
Niggas who rip diamonds and
Fake ass Rolies yo that's clown shit
Every whip I whip shit is German made or Italian
Super dope, my teachers smoke BD and Robert Townsend
And pounds in, these niggas window shoppers they browsin'
Put that on the DL, I put VVS in my medallion
They can't understand it, it's gangster shit from the pannin'
Drop a cannon, even when I was down and out
I was wildin' (I was wildin')
I just blessed the track so let it breath
Yeah, I needs a lot forgot to hit my knees
Freddie Kane clocking overseas
Rapper of the year, fuck the nominees

Honey, Corvette, I be chasing you down
It's a wrap, so easily, so easily
High beam, on the dash, I be shaking you down
It's a wrap, so easily, so easily

Tom Misch - Thomas Abraham Misch (born 25 June 1995) is an English musician and producer. He began releasing music on Soundcloud in 2012 and released his debut studio album Geography in 2018. In 2020, he released his sophomore studio album What Kinda Music in collaboration with English jazz drummer Yussef Dayes, distributed through Blue Note Records. Misch studied music technology at Langley Park School for Boys  and later, in 2014, enrolled in a jazz guitar course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich but left after six months to focus on his own music. He began learning to play the violin at age 4, later learning to play the guitar.

Yussef Dayes

One of the UK's most exciting and innovative young drummers and producers, Yussef Dayes has been deeply involved in jazz as long as he can remember. Best known for work with his brothers in United Vibrations, and also as one half of electrifying duo Yussef Kamaal, he's been developing his sound since age four when his dad bought him his first drum kit.

Born and raised in South East London, as a kid Yussef was practicing non-stop: "My parents were strict - if I was gonna do this, I had to take it seriously." His father was a bass player in New York in the 70s, and brought home an education's worth of jazz vinyl that the Dayes brothers all grew-up on - Yussef and his bassist brother Kareem would play along to their dad's records for hours at a time. This was the closest he got to formal jazz lessons until, when he was ten, he studied under Billy Cobham (Miles Davies' drummer). Yussef considers this to have been the most impactful thing for his progression.

At school, many of Yussef's peers were aspiring MCs, and he considers grime and hip-hop heavily influential to his output: "That same energy and those different flows, I put into my drums." Add to this his Jamaican father's reggae collection, his late mother's love of the Beatles and country, and his brother Ahmad producing jungle tracks, Yussef says: "there was good music in every room" - and this breadth of taste, blended with sounds found while travelling (notably time spent in Senegal) is audible in his exhilarating combination of sounds.

These varied influences would be put into a live setting from a young age - from ten years old he was playing shows with his brothers and their friend Wayne Francis II in an afrobeat and rock-influenced spiritual jazz group. Then, cementing him as one of the need-to-know artists in the UK scene, it was in 2015 that Yussef Kamaal was born. A duo with fellow Londoner Kamaal Williams, their 2016 album 'Black Focus', with its dancefloor sensibilities and funk-infused breakbeats, would become one of the most heralded jazz records of recent times, melding UK sounds with those of the US scene. Certified silver, the album won the duo the 2017 Jazz FM award for Best Breakthrough Act. With their rapturous shows, both groups have helped hone Yussef's thrilling, rapid-fire live presence (he refers to it as an alter-ego, "the beast" that takes over when he's playing).

Following 2018's 'Love Is The Message' - Yussef's transcendental first solo track, self-released on Cashmere Thoughts - 2019 is set to be his busiest and biggest year yet.

With a solo album in the pipeline, Yussef says working solo allows him to be free: uncompromising in choices of sounds and collaborators. He's running with that freedom, working on multiple projects as a producer and player with some of the key names in the UK jazz scene and beyond. A testament to the breadth and scope of his work, Yussef sound tracked and curated the Louis Vuitton dinner show Paris Men's Fashion Week in January, collaborating with none other than Virgil Abloh and Benji B.

It's an exciting time ahead, with more of those soaring, epic, and intricate soundscapes that don't sound quite like anything else to come.
Drumming is a way of communicating and expressing yourself, he says - and in 2019, there's no doubt Yussef Dayes is going to be the one leading the conversation.

Circa Waves - Sad Happy (Official Video)

I was waiting so sad happy
Thought I lost you in a nightmare dream
You were too high to hold on
I was losing all track of time
For a moment I thought I'd died
Searching for someone
But I will not find
Myself tonight
No, I will not find
Myself tonight
But you can't see
My heart's made out of concrete
You know me, I'm sad happy
You know me, I'm sad happy
No, you can't see
My heart's made out of concrete
You know me, I'm sad happy
You know me, I'm sad happy
I was dancing with my eyes wide shut
Trying not to think too much
Too high to fall down
So wait for me, sad happy
I know this feels like a dream
But the good times will come 'round
And I will…
But you can't see
My heart's made out of concrete
You know me, I'm sad happy
You know me, I'm sad happy
No, you can't see
My heart's made out of concrete
You know me, I'm sad happy
You know me, I'm sad happy

Circa Waves are an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 2013. The band
consists of vocalist and guitarist Kieran Shudall, guitarist Joe Falconer, bassist
Sam Rourke, and drummer Colin Jones. Shudall met both Rourke and Plummer through
mutual friends at Liverpoll Sound City in 2013, meeting Falconer not long after at
the same festival where he worked as a stage manager. During the summer and autumn
of 2013 the band played several short UK tours, which included some secret shows.
In a July 2014 interview in Paris, Joe Falconer stated regarding the band name's
origin, "Kieran wrote the demo for "Young Chasers", recorded it and uploaded it to
SoundCloud in one day. As he was uploading it he needed a name and it was the
first thing that came into his head in that split second."

Ariana and the Rose - You Were Never My Boyfriend (Great Good Fine Ok Remix) Visualizer

Was just a film on a Sunday night
Walk through the park with your hand in mine
Spent a couple months sleeping side by side
And it all ended with a kiss goodbye

Every promise that you never kept
We won't see Paris, the way we said
You made me think that it was in my head
But I swear, you were never my boyfriend

You were never my boyfriend (Ay!)
You were never my boyfriend
You can't save what you never had, don't pretend (Ay!)
You were never my boyfriend

I've stuck it out through some stormy weather
But you can't seem to get your shit together
And all my friends say I deserve better
And you know, you were never my boyfriend

You were never my boyfriend (Ay!)
You were never my boyfriend
You can't save what you never had, don't pretend (Ay!)
You were never my boyfriend

You were never (Ay!)
You were never my boyfriend
You were never (Ay!)
Maybe with some time we can mend
But I don't really wanna be friends
Sorry I was crazy while you were being shady
I guess it's for the best in the end

You were never my boyfriend (Ay!)
You were never my boyfriend
You can't save what you never had, don't pretend (Ay!)
You were never my boyfriend
You were never my boyfriend (Ay!)
You were never my boyfriend
You can't save what you never had, don't pretend (Ay!)
You were never my boyfriend

You were never
You were never my boyfriend
You were never
You were never my boyfriend

Yung Pinch - Looking 4 Existence (Prod. James Delgado)

Feel like I'm from another planet
Somewhere far away from
Everything and right before I vanish
Imagine you see me there

Standing in the distance
Calling for a sign
I'm looking for existence
Or any sign of life
If anyone's there come follow me
If anyone's there come follow me back home

I know of a place where
The internet doesn't mean a thing
And everybody plays fair
Floating on for eternity
It's a no fly zone, yeah
I'm fine here on my own
(Yeah)

It's a no fly zone for most they can't stand it
No iPhone's and shows while in transit
Can't go home no more the planes landed

Feel like I'm from another planet
Somewhere far away from
Everything and right before I vanish
Imagine you see me there

Standing in the distance
Calling for a sign
I'm looking for existence
Or any sign of life
If anyone's there come follow me
If anyone's there come follow me back home

Hello?
Hello?
Hello?
How are you now?
How are you now?
How are you?
Hello?
Hello?
Hello?
How are you now?
How are you now?
How are you?
Hello?
Hello?

Alone, every night alone
Why am I alone? I wanna know that you want me, too
Am I wrong? Tell me that I'm wrong
Tell me I deserve all the pain that you put me through, oh

I really hate that I give a fuck
Pressin' my line, I don't wanna pick up
We know enough will never be enough
I play odds against, she keep callin' my bluff
Baby divin' deeper and deeper
She don't believe me when I tell her that I need her
Guess I shoulda stayed where I belonged
'Cause once you make it back to your happy home

I'm alone, every night alone
Why am I alone? I wanna know that you want me, too
Am I wrong? Tell me that I'm wrong
Tell me I deserve all the pain that you put me through, oh

You don't have to bring me good news, babe
I just wanna be there when you choose, babe

Dream girl got me losin' sleep
Baby, you remind me I'm a G
Maybe I'd be better on the run
Double vision playin' all week
This is like a game of survival
Why am I dyin' for a title?
Is it even worth the fight?

When I'll just end up alone, every night alone
Why am I alone? I wanna know that you want me, too
Am I wrong? Tell me that I'm wrong
Tell me I deserve all the pain that you put me through, oh

You don't have to bring me good news, babe
I just wanna be there when you choose, babe
You don't have to bring me good news, babe
I just wanna be there when you choose, babe

Dream girl got me losin' sleep
Baby, you remind me I'm a G
Maybe I'd be better on the run
Double vision playin' all week

Galimatias - South

Look me in the eye I'ma take it slow
River running high when I dive down low
I can go for miles water lets me grow

I'ma have you feeling like you fly mid air
Slowly getting lost but you do not care
Send you to the stars as you pull my hair

Lover you'll forget about your low mood
I'ma wander south and make you feel good
Traveling your body as a prelude

Lover you'll forget about your low mood
I'ma wander south and make you feel good
Let me taste your body like it's soul food

The tide is high
You don't need to tell me nothing girl just turn off the light
I might need a regulator when I go for the dive
The desire made you switch to your most primitive mind

No sin, no sin

Call it meditation when we both unravel within
Feel the calm before the storm as is my tongue on your skin
In between your breathing I can hear the drop of a pin

Cocoa body wash you know you smell nice
Bring your light upon me like the sunrise
Bet I burn my tongue you're like a hot spice

Roll over my body like you want more
Roll on me like water on the seashore
Let me feel your body I want you raw

The tide is high
Got the river running high in the canyon below
I let my tongue travel to the end of the road
Until you reach the peak I won't ever let go

No sin, no sin
Call it meditation when we both unravel within
Feel the calm before the storm as is my tongue on your skin
In between your breathing I can hear the drop of a pin

I'ma have feeling like you fly mid air
Slowly getting lost but you do not care
Send you to the stars as you pull my hair

Galimatias (born Matias Saabye Køedt) is a 26 year old electronic artist from the small town of Fredericia in rural Denmark. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. Galimatias is most known for his 2015 EP release Urban Flora with American singer/somgwriter Alina Baraz. His discography also includes Young Chimera (2013), Luna Soul (2012) and Sunlight Reigns Supreme (2012). On June 15, 2017, Galimatias released his first single since Urban Flora, “Let Me Know.”
Galimatias uses sound as a means of designing a space, a moment, or an attitude. His new explorations marry his signature electronic sound with his love for hip-hop and R&B, genres that he credits for expanding his creative horizons from an early age. He also begun experimenting with his own voice as an instrument. “Essentially the human voice is the most versatile instrument there is, so it’s very inspiring for me to explore it, and especially to extract something new out of it,” he says. He is relentless about finding inspiration in the unexpected; in fact, one of his upcoming tracks features a main melody made out of a recording of a squeaky plastic cassette.  Inspired by innovation and progress, Galimatias wants his new music to embrace the fear of not knowing how to define something brand new. “I want to push the boundaries in all directions but it generally falls somewhere in between hip-hop, R&B, and electronic music."

Hollow Coves - Coastline

I'm leaving home for the costline
Some place under the sun
I feel my heart for the first time
'Cause now I'm moving on, yeah
I'm moving on

And there's a place that I've dreamed of
Where I can free my mind
I hear the sounds of the season
And lose all sense of time

I'm moving far away
To a sunny place
Where it's just you and me
Feels like we're in a dream
You know what I mean

The summer air by the seaside
The way it fills our lungs
The fire burns in the night sky
This life will keep us young, yeah
Keep us young

And we will sleep by the ocean
Our hearts will move with time
And we will wake in the morning
To see the sun paint the sky

I'm moving far away
To a sunny place
Where it's just you and me
Feels like we're in a dream
You know what I mean

I'm moving far away
To a sunny place
Where it's just you and me
Feels like we're in a dream
You know what I mean

I'm moving far away
To a sunny place
Where it's just you and me
Feels like we're in a dream
You know what I mean

Shake - Yeek Sebastian

Lyrics

Let's shake
Let's take a ride
I'm not made out of time

When your heart is black
It's easy to live fast
I'm not like my guitar
No strings attached

What did you do to me?
Nvm, don't start
What did you do to me?
You broke my... (never mind, I don't wanna talk about it)

Let's shake
Let's take a ride
I'm not made out of time

Blossoms - Your Girlfriend

I'm a boy
And she's a girl
With more charm than most movie stars
So we met
Through a friend
We rent a place and she comes round to stay

And now your girlfriend is ringing in my ears again
It's no sure shot but she likes all my favourite things
I know I shouldn't but I'd like to spend more time with her
I wish she'd come over today

What am I supposed to do?
I can tell, they get along so well
Is it possible, she likes me too?
I'm not sure if I should read between those lines

And now your girlfriend is ringing in my ears again
I should be moving out but can't 'cause we've just signed a lease
My hands are shaking, the bedroom walls are paper thin
I heard her come over today

Thought maybe we'd go out for a movie
And we can forget friends who'll be fuming
Then I could walk you home in the evening
And that's just being friendly

And now your girlfriend is ringing in my ears again
And when she smiles, I can't hide my jealousy
Oh I can't take it, boy I hope she's faking it
I heard he bought a ring today

I heard they got engaged today

Blossoms are an English indie pop band from Stockport, Greater Manchester. Formed in 2013, the band consists of Tom Ogden (Lead vocal + Guitar), Charlie Salt (Bass, Backing vocalist), Josh Dewhurst (Lead Guitar, Percussion), Joe Donovan (Drums) and Myles Kellock (Keyboards, Synthesizer, Backing vocals.) Unknown at the time, all members of the band were born in Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport, and lived within a 2 miles of each other whilst growing up. Tom Ogden and Joe Donovan met through a school trip to Alton Towers,  which both of them were placed on due to good attendance, in 2005. During their time in high school they became 'into bands' from the local Manchester music scene such as Oasis and The Stone Roses and saw both aforementioned bands together. Donovan previously knew bassist Charlie Salt as all members of Blossoms went to the same secondary school though not at the same time. Ogden began writing songs aged 15 despite not being in a band due to encouragement from his father. Salt was previously a member of Mutineers with former Haven rhythm section Iwan Gronow and Jack Mitchell. After high school Donovan and later Ogden went on to have jobs at the Alma Lodge Hotel as event staff, they were later joined by Kellock who got a job by Ogden's good word after he joined the unnamed band that would come to be Blossoms. Kellock previously worked at a Co-Op. The Alma Lodge Hotel also served as the venue to the first bands that all five members were in, Salt and guitarist Josh Dewhurst featuring in other bands. After all featuring on the same bill Salt and Dewhurst gravitated toward the other members of Blossoms, together eventually becoming members of the band in January 2013. Ogden, Donovan and Kellock often spent time on their shifts discussing the band and playing demos which got them into trouble several times. On 3 April 2013, Blossoms played their first gig in the Night and Day Cafe on Oldham Street, Manchester for £3 entry. Upon Salt joining the band, they gained a rehearsal space, his grandfather's scaffolding yard which proved ideal as they were able to use it without paying for the time. The scaffolding yard is the location featured on the cover of their debut album. The band take their name from The Blossoms public house at the corner of Bramhall Lane and Buxton Road in Stockport. Donovan heard both Ogden and Salt mention how apt Blossoms was as a band name on separate occasions, leading to the naming of the band as Blossoms. They have since played shows at The Blossoms.

Yoshi Flower - validation (Official Music Video)

You're so beautiful to me
Can't you see?
You're so beautiful to me
Honestly

Yeah, I just spent a ticket on these new dress clothes
You're not impressed though
I shoulda give it something where the rivers don't flow
And the wells all closed
But I gotta find a way to not kill myself when I'm so stressed out
Just searching for some validation
But you don't need no validation, baby, 'cause

You're so beautiful to me
Can't you see?
You're so beautiful to me
Honestly

I would give it all just to hold you close
It's not enough though
Dancing with the devil just to have a good time
Till he took my soul
On and on and on, like the waves, I crash
Like the earth, I roll
Still searching for some validation
But you don't need no validation, baby, 'cause

You're so beautiful to me
Can't you see?
You're so beautiful to me
Honestly
(Ah)

You don't need no validation
You're so beautiful don't have to change none
Baby, you don't need no validation
Comparison got me chasing pavement
No no, you don't need no validation
Feel like I could die but I don't say none
Baby, you don't need no validation
American raver, I'm escapin', I'm just escapin'

Phantoms - Say It ft. Anna Clendening (Official Music Video) ft. Anna Clendening

Try not to think about you, but I'm drunk and
Ain't really fair of you to give me that loving
Up in my feels, don't wanna deal
So give you my time, yes
Making excuses, tell you I don't
But I really like it

Ooh, love how it feels when our bodies in motion
But we're never talking about our emotions
Fall asleep in the silence and leave it unspoken
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

If you wanna go all night, say it
If you wanna pick a fight, say it
If you wanna ride or die, say it
Tell me if it's what you want
What you doing if you're not with me?

Yeah
If you're not with me
Yeah
What you doing if you're not with me?
Yeah
If you're not with me
Yeah
What you doing if you're not with me?

You been in my bed till 3 everyday
Got that last night on my mind like replay
Then disappear, play on my fears
What are we doing?
Always feel like I'm losing, but you keep it amusing

Ooh, love how it feels when our bodies in motion
But we're never talking about our emotions
Fall asleep in the silence and leave it unspoken
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

If you wanna go all night, say it
If you wanna pick a fight, say it
If you wanna ride or die, say it
Tell me if it's what you want
What you doing if you're not with me?
If you wanna tell a lie, say it
If I'm what you fantasize, say it
If you want me for life, say it
Tired of being nonchalant
What you doing if you're not with me?

Yeah
If you're not with me?
Yeah
What you doing if you're not with me?
Yeah
If you're not with me?
Yeah
What you doing if you're not with me?

Maggie Rogers - Give A Little

If I was who I was before
Then I'd be waiting at your door
But I cannot confess I am the same
So, look at me and hear me now
With all my body screaming out
In my mind I'm thinking of the place

Where no one knows me
No one knows you
And you don't know me
And I don't know you

you would open up your heart
Drop your weapons, drop your guard
Just a little trust is all it takes
Oh, I know that you've been around
But hear me now, I'm crying out
Let me be the light upon the lake

But if you give a little, get a little
Maybe we could get to know each other
Give a little, get a little, give a little
And if you give a little, get a little
Maybe we could learn to love each other
Give a little, get a little, give a little

Give a little, get a little, give a little
Give a little, get a little, give a little

If only we could find a way
To leave all of our darker days
Soak in all the sweetness on our skin
Oh, and if you're waiting in the Sun
Then carry me on wings of love
To that brighter day where all begins

And if you give a little, get a little
Maybe we could get to know each other
Give a little, get a little, give a little
And if you give a little, get a little
Maybe we could learn to love each other
Give a little, get a little, give a little

Give a little, get a little, give a little
Oh oh oh

But if you give a little, get a little
Maybe we could get to know each other
Give a little, get a little, give a little
And if you give a little, get a little
Maybe we could learn to love each other
Give a little, get a little, give a little

And no one knows me
And no one knows you
You don't know me
I don't know you
Everything's fresh, yeah
Everything's new
But you don't know me
I don't know you
I can feel it starting up now, yeah
I can feel it all just coming through
There's a whole new world just waiting, baby
So much waiting just for me and you

Hermitude - Too High (Visualizer)

Some times I get a little too high
Too high, if I'm the one to blame
One to blame, one to blame
I know that it takes time, I don't mind
It only happened one time

Two times I get a little to high
Too high if I'm the one to blame
One to blame
I don't mind, it only happens one time
If you wanna blame, wanna blame
Man, I don't mind

Some times I get a little too high
Too high, if I'm the one to blame
One to blame, one to blame
I know that it takes time, I don't mind
It only happened one time

Some times I get a little too high
Some times I get a little too high
Some times I get a little too high
Get a little too high, man, I don't mind

It's only in your mind, just sit back and relax
It's only in your mind so just sit back and relax
It's gonna be alright
It's only in your mind, just sit back and relax
It's only in your mind so just sit back and relax
It's gonna be alright

I get a, I get a little high
I get a, I get a little high
One, two times
I get a, I get a
I get a little high
I get a, I get a little, little too high

Tyla Yaweh - High Right Now (Remix - Official Music Video) ft. Wiz Khalifa

Girl, I'm so high right now
I don't think that I'll ever come down
'Cause this feels better to me
Than anybody reality
I'm floating in the air like I'm weightless
Flying on a cocaine spaceship
Girl, I'm so high right now
I don't think that I'll ever come down

I don't know what I took
All I know is that I'm hot
24 hours got me seeing blue dragons
Molly and the Henny got me speaking different language
Thinking 'bout the world now my mind, no tragic
Thinking 'bout the world now my mind, no tragic

Girl, I'm so high right now
I don't think that I'll ever come down
'Cause this feels better to me
Than anybody reality
I'm floating in the air like I'm weightless
Flying on a cocaine spaceship
Girl, I'm so high right now
I don't think that I'll ever come down

I don't know where I am
My time's frozen and I can't comprehend
Can you stop? Quit fronting on me
I'ma stretch her back like a limousine
Everybody love me, tryna surf my wave
On designer drugs, can't feel my face

Girl, I'm so high right now
I don't think that I'll ever come down
'Cause this feels better to me
Than anybody reality
I'm floating in the air like I'm weightless
Flying on a cocaine spaceship
Girl, I'm so high right now
I don't think that I'll ever come down

Yeah, I don't think that I'll ever come down
Yeah, I don't think that I'll ever come down, yeah
Yeah, I don't think that I'll ever come down
I don't think I'll ever come down

JUMEX - DRUGS (DIR. BY TRISTAN ZAMMIT)

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
What up?

Heartbreak, mistake
Things are getting insane
Better know that I'm not in pain
Hope you can't come back to this place
(Hope you can't come back to this place)

Move on (Move on), move on (Move on)
I always run around the cross (Round the cross) *
Won't get sick, but I'm getting lost (Getting lost)
Dyed hair green, but I'm still lost
Pop two bars and I'm gonna knock out

Hate doing drugs, but it's what I love
Rarely still don't have enough
Hate doing drugs, but it's what I love
And that will never be enough
City lights flashin' bright
Will I make it tonight?
Hate doing drugs, but it's what I love
Today I will pray (Today I will pray)

Ayy, yeah, yeah (SadBoySuffer)

Such a disaster, does life even matter?
Such a disaster, does life even matter?
I had no clue where you went
Stuck on the lean and the 'cet (The lean and the 'cet)
Stuck on the lean and the 'cet (The lean and the 'cet)

Move on (Move on), move on (Move on)
I always run around the cross (Round the cross)
Won't get sick, but I'm getting lost (Getting lost)
Dyed hair green, but I'm still lost
Pop two bars and I'm gonna knock out
Move on (Move on), move on (Move on)
Pop two bars and I'm gonna knock out

Hate doing drugs, but it's what I love
Rarely still don't have enough
Hate doing drugs, but it's what I love
And that will never be enough
City lights flashin' bright
Will I make it tonight?
Hate doing drugs, but it's what I love
Today I will pray (Today I will pray)
Hate doing drugs, but it's what I love
Rarely still don't have enough
Hate doing drugs, but it's what I love

Mark Kiessling (born February 14, 2000), better known as Jumex (stylized as JUMEX), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and guitarist from Chicago. Born in Brookfield and raised in the countryside, he grew up listening to punk bands like Black Flag and Operation Ivy as well as blues, grunge, psychedelic rock, and emo. He attended Lyons Township high school until his untimely departure, due to medical reasons, involving minor drug use. He cites David Bowie, Yung Lean, and Nirvana as his influences. He now lives in Los Angeles. Jumex began making music while in high school, where he joined a punk band called No Signal. He took his stage name from the Mexican drink Jumex,  a favorite of his and his friends' because it was the only thing they "could afford when he was 12 years old." Visually he cultivates an anime  aesthetic. He is a member of the collective Sad Boy Suffer together with sadcrod and idkconundrum. He released his first single, "Trapped," in late 2018. It went viral with three million streams and eight million views of the music video. His first EP, Loner, was released on June 7, 2019 and included the single "Loner" which netted eight million streams and 7.5 million views in six months. Later in the same year, he released the videos for "Wish Me Death", "Alive In My Coffin" and "Billie Eilish" dedicated to the singer. Later in 2019, he toured Japan, invited by Japanese metalcore band Crossfaith to share the stage with them as well as Vein and Injury Reserve. Cautious Clay - Reaching feat. Alex Isley [Official Music Video]

"Reaching"
(feat. Alex Isley)
(from "Insecure: Music From The HBO Original Series, Season 4" soundtrack)

(Stay trippin', oh)

[Cautious Clay:]
You wanna act impatient every time I come around
Every time I wear the crown
But then you see me when I'm at my lowest (Low)
Then you wanna take advantage of me

Petty 'cause you know me
Petty 'cause you want everything
Got your new blood and your nosering
This the type of shit you on
So I call you when you're up again

[Alex Isley:]
Don't know if I'm ready
Talk to you tomorrow
You can call me petty
But I get angry when you come to mind
Don't say that you're sorry
Too late to the party
Girl, don't get me started
I refuse to let you ruin my

[Cautious Clay:]
Mood is feeling good
Tryna make me wait
Lookin' for a fight just to make me stay
To be honest, you've been fienin' for
Attention, 'cause you need it all (Oh)
Reachin' like you've been up to something (Yeah)
All of the phones you take
Motels you wait at
But you don't really got nowhere to be
Busy wasting your time again

Trippin' like you want it
Trippin' like you had everything
On your own terms, in your own lane
I don't wanna say you're flawed
So I call you by your other name

[Alex Isley & Cautious Clay:]
Don't know if I'm ready
Talk to you tomorrow (Talk to you tomorrow)
You can call me petty
But I get angry when you come to mind
Don't say that you're sorry (Don't say that you're sorry)
Too late to the party (Oh)
Girl, don't get me started (Oh)
I refuse to let you ruin my

[Cautious Clay:]
Trippin' like you want it
Trippin' like you had everything
Trippin' like you want it
Trippin' like you had everything

Alex Isley discovered her love of music and passion for performing at an early age. She takes great pride in the influence and legacy of her family’s music; her father, Ernie Isley, and her uncles are collectively the Isley Brothers. From living room shows to elementary school talent shows, she began to cultivate her passion into a career as a musician. She started classical vocal training at the age of 12 and later went on to attend the LA County High School for the Arts, where she discovered her love for not only listening to, but for performing jazz as well. Singers such as Ella Fitzgerald and Kurt Elling made an immense impression on her and her approach to performing, which she incorporated in her performances as a Jazz Studies major at UCLA. During her college years, Alex began songwriting, drawing from her own life experiences as well as those of friends and family.

Salón Acapulco - Lemon Tree ft. Vera Ver

I'm sitting here in the boring room
It's just another rainy Sunday afternoon
I'm wasting my time
I got nothing to do
I'm hanging around
I'm waiting for you
But nothing ever happens and I wonder
I'm driving around in my car
I'm driving too fast
I'm driving too far
I'd like to change my point of view
I feel so lonely
I'm waiting for you
But nothing ever happens and I wonder
I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon tree
I'm turning my head up and down
I'm turning turning turning turning turning around
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon tree
I'm sitting here
I miss the power
I'd like to go out taking a shower
But there's a heavy cloud inside my head
I feel so tired
Put myself into bed
While nothing ever happens and I wonder
Isolation is not good for me
Isolation I don't want to sit on the lemon tree
I'm steppin' around in the desert of joy.
Baby anyhow I'll get another toy
And everything will happen and you wonder
I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon tree
I'm turning my head up and down
I'm turning turning turning turning turning around
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon tree
And I wonder, wonder
I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see and all that I can see and all that I can see is just a yellow lemon tree.

Jade Bird - I Get No Joy

"I Get No Joy"

Military march
In and out my head
Everything I did
Everything I said
Take you to the arch
For your happiness
Or spend it like a lark
Singing for nothing

I get no joy
I get no joy
All the words my mother said
Can't seem to get them out my head
Everything becomes everything
You live, you learn, you love, you're dead
I get no joy

Together and apart
Do it all again
Right back to the start
Straight up to the end
I'm such a fool
Got everything and you
Yet my heart is so blue
I'm singing for nothing

I get no joy
I get no joy
All the words my mother said
Can't seem to get them out my head
Everything becomes everything
You live, you learn, you love, you're dead
I get no joy

I swear that I don't pay attention
If I did, would intervention come to me in a dream?
Or is that just what the directors and the pills and
Other deflectors would have you believe?
Psychotic, hypnotic, erotic; which box is your thing?
Fact how many days a week
Do you feel
Electric, connected, unexpectedly affected?
What do you need?
What do you need?

I get no joy
I get no joy
All the words my mother said
Can't seem to get them out my head
Everything becomes everything
You live, you learn, you love, you're dead
I get no joy

I know the sun will shine
Another day another time
I know the sun will shine
Another day another time
I know the sun will shine
I know the sun will shine
Electric, connected, unexpectedly affected
What do you need?
What do you need?

I get no joy
I get no joy
All the words my mother said
Can't seem to get them out my head
Everything becomes everything
You live, you learn, you love, you're dead
I get no joy
I get no joy

No joy

Aquilo - Good Girl

"Good Girl"

Yeah, I breathe irresponsibly
Inhale into my bloodstream
This space I can't seem to fill
Hold up, begging but I'm still lost in
The margin there's a line
Can't turn the pages
I have tried
Hopeless if you only see

I'm here to focus on the light
A side you care?
And in truth I don't compare
Cause
You're so around me, might be subconsciously
But I don't feel like I'm still on my own

Cause I've been looking for a good girl
Yeah, I'm looking for a good girl
Tell me if you think I found
Maybe there's a chance you'll let me know
Cause I've been looking for a good girl
Yeah, I'm looking for a good girl
Tell me 'cus I'm lookin' out
Can I get a sign before you go?

I brought the jaded here tonight
But you send a message to my spine
One look, I can't turn away
And I'm hooked, tell me what you say
Lost in your movement and your lies
Can I just put you through my side
Hopeless if you never see

I'm here to focus on the light
A side you care?
And in truth I don't compare
Cause
You're so around me, might be subconsciously
But I don't feel like I'm still on my own

Cause I've been looking for a good girl
Yeah, I'm looking for a good girl
Tell me if you think I found
Maybe there's a chance you'll let me know
Cause I've been looking for a good girl
Yeah, I'm looking for a good girl
Tell me 'cus I'm lookin' out
Can I get a sign before you go?

Make it obvious to me
Make it obvious to see
Make it obvious to me
Make it obvious to see
Tell me if you think I found

Cause I've been looking for a good girl
Yeah, I'm looking for a good girl
Tell me if you think I found
Maybe there's a chance you'll let me know
Cause I've been looking for a good girl
Yeah, I'm looking for a good girl
Tell me 'cus I'm lookin' out

Astrid S - Hurts So Good

You're fighting me off like a firefighter
So tell me why you still get burned
You say you're not, but you're still a liar
'Cause I'm the one that you run to first

Every time, yeah, why do you try to deny it
When you show up every night and tell me that you want me
But it's complicated, so complicated

When it hurts, but it hurts so good
Do you take it? Do you break it off?
When it hurts, but it hurts so good
Can you say it, can you say it?
Your love is like, na na na na na na na
Your love is like, na na na na na na na
It hurts so good, na na na na na na na
Your love is like, na na na na na na na
It hurts so good

Every time that I swear it's over
It makes you want me even more
You pull away and I come in closer
And all we ever stay is torn

Baby, I don't know why I try to deny it
When you show up every night I tell you that I want you
But it's complicated, so complicated

When it hurts, but it hurts so good
Do you take it? Do you break it off?
When it hurts, but it hurts so good
Can you say it, can you say it?
Your love is like, na na na na na na na
Your love is like, na na na na na na na
It hurts so good, na na na na na na na
Your love is like, na na na na na na na
It hurts so good

Wide awake through the daylight
Will you hold me like we're running a yellow light?
Reach for you with my hands tied
Are we dancing like we're burning in paradise?

When it hurts, but it hurts so good
Do you take it? Do you break it off?
When it hurts, but it hurts so good
Can you say it, can you say it?
Your love is like, na na na na na na na
Your love is like, na na na na na na na
It hurts so good, na na na na na na na
Your love is like, na na na na na na na
It hurts so good

Hurts So Good lyrics © Kobalt Music Publishing Ltd., BMG Rights Management

A bona fide national treasure in her home country with an ever-broadening global fanbase, Astrid S has gained over 1,4 billion streams with hit songs such as “Hurts So Good”, “Think Before I Talk” and “Such A Boy”. Astrid was born in the tiny Norwegian hamlet of Berkåk – “In the heart of Norway,” she says, “quite literally”. Music was her first love, soccer her second. After turning her focus primarily towards the former, she entered Norwegian Idol and went on to earn her first hit, “Shattered”. She signed to Sony ATV Music Publishing as a songwriter later that year and has since been honing her ear for a perfect pop chorus and identifiable, genre-bending lyrics. In 2018, Astrid sold out her Party’s Over World Tour with 32 shows in the US, UK and Europe before the release of her summer smash “Emotion”. Going from strength to strength, Astrid ended the year by joining Years & Years on their UK tour, culminating in a show at London’s O2 Arena. 2019 kicked off with the release of Astrid’s upbeat smash “Someone New”, alongside sold-out-shows in New York and Los Angeles. Shortly after, Astrid joined Swedish superstar Zara Larsson on her US-tour dates throughout April, concluding with the release of her huge, emotional single “The First One”. The end of summer saw the release of Astrid’s highly anticipated EP, “Trust Issues”, which was followed by her sold-out “Stripped Down Tour” across the US and Europe. The EP consisted of five tracks, including inevitable fan-favorites “Doing To Me” and “Trust Issues”. The grand finale of the Stripped Down Tour was the surprise release of yet another EP, “Down Low”, which added four stripped down tracks to Astrid’s rapidly increasing catalogue. As she looks towards her debut album and her “Astrid_S: World Tour Part One” in 2020, Astrid recalls exactly what pop music made her feel like as a young girl in a small town. ‘The moment I put a Discman on I was in another world. It was magical.’ Now she is ready to translate that early metamorphosis for her own fans. ‘To give them a world to get lost in as well.’ She is ready to colonize pop music with her own indefatigable energy. ‘Now I feel ready to fly.’
