Never Let You Go (Blu Mar Ten Remix)

You said that you will always be there

Touch my soul and I'll never let you go
Lose your love, don't leave me alone
Hear my voice and I'll never leave you

Yeeeeah...

Feel buried alive, this city is airtight
Suffocatin', lonely in the crowds
I'm surrounded by all the screens of their lies
Screamin' into space to drown them out

I fell down so low, found nowhere to go
But I know you wait for me
You wait for me
So far out of sight, stepped into the white
But I know you wait for me

I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight
'Cause I've been hypnotized by the lights
But I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight
Yeah, it's taken time to realize
But I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight

So hold me tight, I just wanna fade out
Somewhere we can shut the world away
I'm ready to hide far from the fallouts
They won't find us in the paradise we'll make

I fell down so low, found nowhere to go
But I know you wait for me
You wait for me
So far out of sight, stepped into the white
But I know you wait for me

I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight
'Cause I've been hypnotized by the lights
But I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight
Yeah, it's taken time to realize
But I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight
I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight
I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight

Free fallin' from the high
I'm followin' the voice I know
Free fallin' from the high

I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight
'Cause I've been hypnotized by the lights
But I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight
Yeah, it's taken time to realize
But I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight
I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight
I'm comin' home, I'm comin' back down tonight

Hypnotized lyrics © BMG Rights Management, Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC

So what has come out of this band? Uplifting, self-assured and uncompromised music, where catchy instrumentals are layered with lyrics of substance. And they’re not afraid to show a more exposed side either, take ‘Runaway’, a tale of not always being able to cope with what life throws at us and how sometimes the best thing to do is, well, you guessed it, run away. This mixed with tunes like ‘Break the Silence’, which leaves its listener feeling empowered and ready to face whatever the day may bring. That’s right, Sophie and the Giants caters for all of your emotional needs.

Sigala, James Arthur - Lasting Lover (Lyrics)

I don't know why
I can't quite get you out my sight
You're always just behind
You're stored across my mind

Keep crawling back
To where we last
Left our love on hold
I'm always out for more
So what you waiting for?

Wait, before you burn me to the ground
Please stay 'til the beat of our heart runs out

I don't wanna let go, let go
'Cause I've been tryna
Hold on for so long
I feel like I'm lost without a trace
Take my heart and run away
She said, "I've been looking for a lasting lover"

To save me, save me
From every single
Heartache, heartache
I feel like I'm lost without a trace
Take my heart and run away
She said, "I've been looking for a lasting lover"

She said, "I've been looking for a lasting lover"

One by one and
Two by twice
I've watched all my loves
Move on to something more
Open out the door

Caught in between every passing hour
Oh, please stay 'til the taste of your love turns sour

I don't wanna let go, let go
'Cause I've been tryna
Hold on for so long
I feel like I'm lost without a trace
Take my heart and run away
She said, "I've been looking for a lasting lover"

To save me, save me
From every single
Heartache, heartache
I feel like I'm lost without a trace
Take my heart and run away
She said, "I've been looking for a lover"

So let me know
Did we ever mean anything at all?
So let me know
Did we ever mean anything at all?

I feel like I'm lost without a trace
Take my heart and run away
She said, "Didn't hurt me"
Ooh, I feel like I'm lost without a trace
Take my heart and run away
She said, "I've been looking for a lasting lover"

I've been looking for a lasting lover
Oh and I've been looking for a lasting lover

James Arthur (born 2nd March 1988) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame after winning the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012. His debut single, a cover of Shontelle's "Impossible", was released by Syco Music after the final, and debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart. Since then, it has gone on to sell over 2.5 million copies worldwide, making it the most successful winner's single in the show's history. The follow-up single, "You're Nobody 'til Somebody Loves You", reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart. He released his self-titled debut studio album in November 2013. The album debuted and peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart. After the release of his debut studio album James Arthur, he was involved in a series of controversies which led iTunes to offer refunds for the album. Arthur parted ways with Simon Cowell's record label Syco in 2014. In 2015, he signed a new deal with Columbia Records to release his second studio album in 2016, titled Back from the Edge. Arthur was later re-signed to Syco in 2016.

Arthur was born on 2 March 1988 to an English mother, Shirley Ashworth, and a Scottish father, Neil Arthur. Neil was a delivery driver, but also used to be a DJ and drummer for many years, whilst Shirley was a fashion model and later a sales and marketing professional.[citation needed] Arthur's dad and mother split up when he was two years old, and they each settled with new partners: when Arthur was three, Shirley got together with Ronnie Rafferty, a computer engineer, and Neil later married another woman; together they had Arthur's halfsister.

At the age of 14, Arthur entered part-time voluntary foster care: he lived with his father, Neil, for three days of the week and was in foster care in Brotton  – about ten miles from Redcar – for the other four days. Arthur first went to Ings Farm Primary School in Redcar  North Yorkshire. In 1997, when he was nine, he moved with his mother, his stepfather, and two of his sisters to Bahrain. In Bahrain, he studied at the local British School of Bahrain. In April 2001, when Arthur was 13, they moved back to England, having lived in Bahrain for a total of four years. Upon his return, he continued his studies at Rye Hills School in Redcar.

My eyes laying in your bed

But I can’t stay
We're flirting, kissing, but no hands
You like to move, I like to dance
We're flirting, kissing, but no hands
You like to move, I like to dance

What a pretty summer lover 3x

I felt with that emotion
When your hands touched my face
I just had that feeling that I knew you from away
More than just a connection
It was so strange
The moment of perception
I knew I needed a taste

What a pretty summer lover 3x

I feel with no emotion
Yours eyes laying, fading, in my bed 5x

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler born 18 December 1975) is an Australian singer, songwriter, voice actress and director. She started her career as a singer in the acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s in Adelaide. In 1997, when Crisp disbanded, she released her debut studio album, titled OnlySee, in Australia. She moved to London, England, and provided vocals for the British duo Zero 7.  In 2000, Sia released her second studio album, Healing is Difficult, and her third studio album, Colour the Small One, in 2004, but all of these struggled to connect with a mainstream audience. Sia relocated to New York City in 2005 and toured in the United States. Her fourth and fifth studio albums, Some People Have Real Problems and We Are Born, were released in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Each was certified gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association and attracted wider notice than her earlier albums. Uncomfortable with her growing fame, Sia took a hiatus from performing, during which she focused on songwriting for other artists, producing successful collaborations "Titanium" (with David Guetta), "Diamonds" (With Rihanna) and "Wild Ones" (with Flo Rida).

Sia_Seattle_(cropped).jpg

In 2014, Sia broke through as a solo recording artist when her sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear, debuted at No 1 in the U.S. Billboard 200 and generated the top-ten single "Chandelier" and a trilogy of music videos co-directed by Sia and starring child dancer Maddie Ziegler.  Since then, Sia has usually worn a wig that obscures her face to protect her privacy. Her seventh studio album, This Is Acting (2016), spawned her first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Cheap Thrills". The same year, Sia gave her Nostalgic for the Present Tour,  which incorporated dancing by Ziegler and others and other performance art elements. Her eighth studio album, Everyday Is Christmas, was released in 2017 and reissued in 2018 with three bonus tracks. In 2018, she collaborated with Labrinth and Diplo in the group LSD, and they released their self-titled debut album in APril 2019. Sia wrote and directed an upcoming feature film, titled Music: Among the accolades received by Sia are nearly a dozen ARIA Awards, 9 Grammy Award nominations and an MTV Video Music Award.

FATOUMATA DIAWARA.jpg

Fatoumata Diawara (born 1982 on the Ivory Coast is a Malian actress, singer-songwriter and multiple Grammy Award nominee currently living in France. She received two nominations at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards for Best World Music Album for her album Fenfo and Best Dance Recording for Ultimatum in which she was featured with the English band Disclosure. Diawara was born in the Ivory Coast to Malian parents. As an adolescent, she was sent back to their native Bamako in Mali to be raised by an aunt. When she was eighteen, Diawara moved to France to pursue acting. She briefly returned to Mali for a film role, but fled back to Paris to avoid being coerced into marriage by her family. Diawara later took up the guitar and began composing her own material, writing songs that blend Wassoulou traditions of southern Mali with international influences. Noted for her "sensuous voice," Diawara sings primarily in Bambara, the national language of Mali, and builds on the tradition of "songs of advice" from the culture of her ancestral Wassoulou region.

In her songs, Diawara has addressed issues such as the pain of emigration; a need for mutual respect; the struggles of African women; life under the rule of religious fundamentalists, and the practice of female circumcision. One song that exemplifies her focus on these topics is "Mali-ko (Peace/La Paix)", a seven-minute song and video that blasts the fundamentalist conquest of Northern Mali and urges unity to quell resentment against the Tuareg minority whom some blamed for abetting the incursion. Diawara said about the song, ""I needed to scream with this song, 'Wake up! We are losing Mali! We are losing our culture, our tradition, our origins, our roots!' After moving to France, Diawara appeared in Cheick Oumar Sissoko 1999 feature film Genesis, Dani Kouyaté's popular 2001 film Sia, le rêve du python and in the internationally renowned street theatre troupe Royal de Luxe. She also played a leading role in the musical Kirikou and the Sorceress. Simultaneously with pursuing her musical career, Diawara has continued her cinematic activities, with numerous roles, appearances, and musical input in multiple feature films, including in Timbuktu, which won seven César Award nods and an Academy Award nomination in 2014.

This video was filmed in Pasadena, California on the unceded, stolen land of the Tongva people. We honor the estimated 2,000 Tongva descendants that live in Los Angeles County today and carry on the traditions of their people, as well as the countless Tongva ancestors who lost their lives to colonial and state-sanctioned violence on this land. Though Katie is rollerblading in this video, she wishes to acknowledge the influence that the rollerskating community has had on her practice of blading and skating, particularly the influence of skate dance culture which was spearheaded by Black Americans in the 60’s and 70’s. She encourages those interested to follow @abominatrix, who taught her some of her moves, and @worldonwheelsla where she has attended skating classes

It's another suburban summer
The street lights blink on
If you're passing the house on the corner
You'd think no one's home

But when I feel that resonation
Waving with the weight
Grown bodies in the basement
And when you swing my way
Won't wait, no way, no way
Warm bodies in the basement

When I feel that 808 go
Waving with the weight
Grown bodies in the basement
And when you swing my way
Won't wait, no way, no way
Warm bodies in the basement

Your body on mine
Body and mind
My body's in the basement
Your body on mine
Body and mind
Bodies in the basement

I'm still thinking about that summer
Lying awake all alone
Keep on passing the house on the corner
But there's nobody home

But when I feel that resonation
Waving with the weight
Grown bodies in the basement
And when you swing my way
Won't wait, no way, no way
Warm bodies in the basement

When I feel that 808 go
Waving with the weight
Grown bodies in the basement
And when you swing my way
Won't wait, no way, no way
Warm bodies in the basement

Your body on mine
Body and mind
My body's in the basement

Your body on mine
Body and mind
My body's in the basement
Your body on mine
Body and mind
Bodies in the basement

Oh wait, oh wait, oh wait
No way, no way, no way
No way, no way, no way, no
Oh wait, oh wait, oh wait
No way, no way, no way
My body's in the basement

We get it almost every night
When that moon is big and bright
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It is such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight
Dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
The moon, the moon, the moon, baby, the moon, the moon
Dancin' in the moonlight

Everybody here is out of sight
They don't bark and they don't bite
They keep things loose, they keep it tight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It is such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It is such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
Dancin' in the moonlight

The moon, the moon, the moon, baby, the moon, the moon
Dancin' in the moonlight
