I don't recall
Where i come from
I don't believe
In many things
I don't regret
A single fall
Cuz i know why
The caged bird sings
And this is why i try
To fly
I only wanna find
A way to shine
A way to be
Away from here
Where colors bleed
Into the sky
If all i see
Should disappear
If we are free
We'll never die
And this is why i try
To fly
I only wish to find
A way to shine
Yeah this is why i try
To fly
I only hope to find
A way to shine
A way to shine
A way to shine
A way to shine...
I don't recall...
And this is why i try
To fly
I only wish to find
A way to shine
Yeah this is why i try
To fly
I only hope to find
A way to shine
A way to shine
A way to shine
A way to shine...

If you know anything about house music then you’re bound to have come across Tom and Ian Griffiths’ sensualistic disco-matic sound. These Bristol based boys have been slamming the decks with some of the strongest creative and cerebral four-to-the-floor music for close to four years now.
Their sound cultivates an exclusive hold on a vintage sound. Providing music lovers with something almost ethereal, yet passionately illusory. With beefy attention to basslines, sided with some of the most faultless vocal mixing in the genre, Icarus is swimming leagues ahead of any other talent in house music to date. Their latest release ‘Love Has Come Around’ embodies a euphoric disco-tinged appeal matched to some intriguing production elements. Sampling the early 80’s Donald Byrd cut of the same name, it applies a neat twist to an instantly infectious hook.
These Bristol boys are ever expanding and evolving in their approach to creating a topnotch house music sound that is manifested with each new release. It’s easy to come to the conclusion that Icarus has established themselves as incredibly talented producers, DJs, and label bosses.
EG: I remember seeing a post on IG that showed that out of 7 billion people in the world 1.7 billion are Djs. That being said, how difficult is it to break through as an artist in this industry? Does an artist need to identify with a genre in order to get noticed?
Icarus: Interesting statistic! It’s definitely become very fashionable to be a DJ nowadays. In answer to your other questions, it’s hard. It takes a lot of persistence and belief in what you’re doing. And yes, sometimes fitting within a certain scene or genre can help your career, as people know what to expect from you. That’s not really how we operate though, as you might be able to tell by listening to our back catalog! We’ve always written fairly eclectic music but it still all falls under the broad ‘electronic music’ umbrella. We just keep doing our thing and hope that it connects with people!
I know you established your own ‘Fly Boy’ record label a couple of years back. How are things going for you as far as having your own imprint?
Icarus: We love it! It actually started at the same time as we started Icarus. We always wanted to have our own label and it felt like the right time to start it, so it can grow alongside our project. We really enjoy finding and working with new artists and helping them with their music and careers in general. We’re lucky enough to work with some really talented producers and vocalists. We’ve just released FLYBOY014 and we’ve got loads more lined up for the year. We’re excited to see the label and the roster growing!

[Intro]
I've been walking on the wrong road
Searching for something that I won't find
I've been hanging with the wrong car
Holding on to something that's not mine
I hear sirens calling me back to where I am supposed to be
I hear sirens calling me back to where I am supposed to be
[Chorus]
Ooh, ooh, ooh (supposed to be)
Ooh, ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh (supposed to be)
Ooh, ooh, ooh
[Bridge]
I've been walking on the wrong road
Searching for something that I won't find
I've been hanging with the wrong crowd
Holding on to something that's not mine
I hear sirens calling me back to where I am supposed to be
I hear sirens calling me back to where I am supposed to be
[Chorus]
Ooh, ooh, ooh (supposed to be)
Ooh, ooh, ooh
I hear sirens calling me back to where i'm supposed to be
I hear sirens calling me back to where i'm supposed to be

Icarus - Dreams Of You (feat. Rae Morris)
What’s it been like being signed to Pete Tong’s ‘FFRR’ label? It must be a very good experience to work with such an industry icon. How did that union come about?
Icarus: Being associated with such a well-respected imprint is obviously an honor for us. We were lucky that Pete heard our music some years ago now and wanted to work with us on a long-term basis. Having him involved with our project is both humbling and invaluable for us.
What makes a strong transition from one track to the next and how do you see the relative importance of establishing a flow versus creating tension through suspenseful breaks in a set?
Icarus: We think both of these things are important. Too much of the same dynamic in a set can become quite repetitive and boring but at the same time, too many breaks in momentum can make it hard for the audience to get into what you’re playing. We try to keep things moving for certain segments of a set, then throwing in the odd well timed (hopefully!) breakdown can be really effective
Icarus - Dreams Of You (feat. Rae Morris)
What’s your perspective on the relationship and the balance between technological advances, music and the art of DJing? Is it important for artists to have a fundamental understanding of knowing how to play vinyl for example?
Icarus: Overall we think the advances in technology have been a positive for music. Obviously some people will disagree and there are valid arguments for and against new technology in music. For us, it’s made processes more creative (sometimes), easier, faster and certainly more affordable. Saying that, it’s meant that ‘the market’ has been pretty flooded with a lot of people making music and putting it out there themselves, and sometimes that can have an impact on quality but you just have to dig through the noise and find music that you like. Overall it’s meant a lot more people who may not have been able to make music before can now do so, and that’s surely a good thing. Plus, the old processes are still there if people want to use them. As for DJing, again we think it’s positive. We both learnt to DJ using vinyl but we now use USBs in CDJs. Learning on vinyl was great and we’re glad that’s how we started mixing but in this day and age we don’t think it’s essential that a DJ has the skills to mix using vinyl. Really, it’s about selecting great music that works in the environment you’re playing in and having the necessary skills to mix those pieces of music together in a way that creates an atmosphere. However, you want to do that is cool with us!

I can’t hide
Your head next to mine
Your eyes shut tight

EG: Icarus is an interesting Greek mythological character. Can you tell us why you chose to have this be your artistic title?
Icarus: I remember sitting in our old studio (which was the vault of an old townhouse in Bristol) for days on end trying to come up with a name we liked for our new project. I’m not sure what led us to Greek mythology but we thought the names used sounded interesting. When we found the name Icarus it just seemed to grab us. We liked the story and you could definitely apply it to a career in music so we went with it.

[Verse 1]
Wish I knew where it went
Your faith in me, is getting thin
Looks like we're down to a single thread
Hanging on now to your every breath
[Pre-Chorus]
Falling out is anything but painless
Tell me how you feel and I can take it
God, I wish I knew a way to change this
[Chorus]
I'm choking on smoke
From the bridges I've burned
I wish you weren't one of the people I hurt
Wooh, ooh
[Post-Chorus]
It started as glitter, but it turned to dust
You gave me your heart and I messed it all up
Messed it all up
Wooh, ooh
I nevеr had a chance
With a love like us
[Drop]
I never had a chance
With a love like us
Wooh, ooh
Wooh, ooh
I never had a chance
With a love like us
Wooh, ooh-
[Verse 2]
Yeah, my hopes were never high
Made the same mistakes every time
Something 'bout you made it worth the risk
So why's it still hurt when it ends like this?
[Pre-Chorus]
Falling out is anything but painless
Tell me how you feel and I can take it
God, I wish I knew a way to change this
Wooh
[Chorus]
I'm choking on smoke
From the bridges I've burned
I wish you weren't one of the people I hurt

Fresh off their widely-acclaimed Seven Lions collaboration ‘Don’t Wanna Fall’, Colorado duo Last Heroes have stayed true to their now-signature melodic dubstep sound with their fifth release of this year. Seeing a release less than a week following its premiere at Seven Lions’ stunning stream from The Gorge Amphitheatre, ‘Love Like Us’ blends dense supersaws, grandiose percussion, and deep growls to make for one of the most evocative and enchanting soundscapes in Ophelia Records’ repertoire to date.
Amidst a warm backdrop of soothing pads, stalwart melodic bass vocalist RUNN wears her heart on her sleeve in the verses, her melismas soon soaring atop an exquisite layering of poignant chords. The scintillating production, meanwhile, strikes the perfect balance between serenely evocative and deeply impactful, as one has come to expect from the up-and-coming Ophelia protégés. As hard as it is to find a niche sound in melodic dance music, Last Heroes seem to have established themselves as nonpareil champions of the melodic dubstep genre.
While ‘Love Like Us’ remains some of Last Heroes’ best work yet, it also heralds the start of a new chapter for the duo (Garrett Lucerno & Brian Helander). Of this record’s place in their bright future ahead, Brian says, “This song is the first step into something a lot bigger we’ve been working on for the past year. So much has culminated into this song and what’s to come.”

Fairlane greets listeners with dreamy guitar instrumentation that quickly turns into a showcase of RUNN’s powerful vocals. Through his unique production and usage of futuristic synth tones, Fairlane perfectly encapsulates the sensation of believing “nothing can compare to the first time.”
Not only did the Fairlane and RUNN’s teamwork bring the world new music, but it also brought a new camaraderie. In a recent Instagram post, RUNN expressed her gratitude for this song and how it started such a wonderful friendship between the two.

[Verse]
I saw a spark in the distant
Falling stars and in an instant
I left my whole life behind
I climbed it all, every mountain
Big and small but every question
Left my heart unsatisfied
[Pre-Chorus]
But every turn I took
Unlocked just what I couldn't
A secret combination deep inside
[Chorus]
I had to search the world
To find what I was missing
But I never found what I was looking for
I followed all the signs back to the beginning
And I finally see what you have always known
That I'm already home
I'm already home
I'm already home
[Drop]
I'm already home
That I'm already home
I'm already home
[Bridge]
I climbed it all, еvery mountain
Big and small but every quеstion
Left my heart unsatisfied

But every turn I took
Unlocked just what I couldn't
A secret combination deep inside

Haliene
Kelly Melissa Sweet (born March 29, 1988), also known professionally as Haliene stylized as HALIENE), is an American electropop singer-songwriter currently living in Los Angeles. As Haliene, she is known for her vocal collaborations with EDM artists Armin van Buuren, Seven Lions, ATB, Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila and her song with Gareth Emery & Standerwick, "Saving Light", which won the A State of Trance award, "Tune of the Year," by Armin van Buuren.
Kelly Sweet was born in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, on March 29, 1988, to pianist Jeffrey Howard Sweet and artist Candace Lynn Sweet. Born into a musical household, Sweet was raised on the jazz standards that were part of her father's repertoire. Soon after she could walk, Sweet learned musical notes with her father's help. Her first public performance followed when she was four years old at the Cape Cod Conservatory. At the age of seven, following the divorce of her parents, Sweet and her mother moved to Kanab, Utah. Sweet began working regularly with a vocal coach and honed her skills as a performer by singing at state fairs, county festivals, and community theatres. In the summers of 2000 and 2001, Sweet studied musical theatre at Interlochen Center for the Arts Summer Arts Camp in northern Michigan. Sweet and her mother eventually went on the road for two years, travelling back and forth between Kanab, Las Vegas and Los Angeles in search of performance opportunities. After hearing the 14-year-old Sweet's demo CD, the Los Angeles Lakers booked her to sing the National Anthem on three occasions.

About Kanab City
Kanab is the commercial center of a large farming, ranching and recreational community. The city of Kanab, county seat of Kane County, is often called "Little Hollywood" because of its film-making history over the years.
This town of 4,300 sits at the hub of the southwest's national parks and offers exciting vacation opportunities year round. Kanab is located 7 miles north of the Arizona border on U.S. Alternate 89, and is centrally located between Las Vegas, NV, Phoenix, AZ, Albuquerque, NM, Denver, CO and Salt Lake City, UT.
Kanab is surrounded by a variety of western geologic scenery ranging from coral pink cliffs and sand dunes, volcanic craters and lava flows to deep canyons, majestic mountains and plains. The natural beauty and consistently good weather of the Kanab area has made it a popular place to visit. Kanab is considered a popular hub location for visits to Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon National Parks, Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument and Lake Powell NRA (National Recreational Area). Other close-by national monuments and colorful state parks make Kanab a natural center with quality services for a week-end-get-away or an extended vacation to experience these exciting destinations and typical "Southwestern" recreational activities.
History
Named for a Paiute word meaning "place of the willows," Kanab was settled in 1864 when Fort Kanab was built on the east bank of Kanab Creek for defense against the Indians and as a base for the exploration of the area. Indian attacks forced the abandonment of the fort in 1866. In 1870, ten Mormon families moved into the fort and began to establish the present town. That same year Brigham Young, Prophet and President of the Mormon church, visited the area twice, making suggestions and supervising the town planning.
For many years Kanab was one of the most isolated cities in the nation. It was cut off from the east by the Colorado River and could only be reached with difficulty by rough dirt roads stretching over the rough terrain of the Arizona Strip west toward Las Vegas, NV. A twenty three mile journey north to Orderville, UT took nearly four days. Perhaps this isolation is why Zane Gray lived in the town while writing his Riders of the Purple Sage in 1912. Today, Kanab is a scenic tourist town with a friendly western spirit where tens of thousands of tourists stop to enjoy the "Old West" quality of life each year. The history in Kanab comes alive in the architecture of the old homes and buildings of the community.
Interlochen Center for the Arts will receive the National Medal of Arts, the nation's highest honor for artistic excellence. The award will be presented by President Bush to ten individuals and organizations in a White House ceremony on November 9.
On March 3rd, 2015, Sweet released her first feature, The End with Seven Lions on Casablanca Records. She later worked with Seven Lions again on Rush Over Me, a collaboration with Illenium and Said The Sky that peaked at No. 2 on the Electronic iTunes Singles chart and (as of April 2018) has reached over 8 million views on YouTube and over 18 million on Spotify. She first performed live at Webster Hall, ew York, March 5, 2015, with Seven Lions at his Throes of Winter release party. Sweet has since performed all over the world at venues such as the Red Rock Amphitheatre, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, Hollywood Palladium, San Jose City National Civic Arena, AFAS Live, O2 Academy, ExchangeLA, the Jakarta Colosseum and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In June 2017, she was the only singer to perform two times at the Electronic Daisy Carnival with Illenium and Ferry Corsten at the festival which hosted over 400,000 attendees. In March 2018, she performed with Gareth Emery at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium to a sold-out crowd for his show "laserface".
AMIDY teams up with singer/songwriter HALIENE to give fans a beautifully composed track, “Already Home,” on Ophelia Records!
Sweet's mother, Candace, died from cancer on December 16, 2011. Less than six months later, June 4, 2012, her father succumbed to bone marrow cancer after eight years with the disease. Sweet was working on her second album during this difficult time and recalls, "I was 23 years old and I felt I stood amongst the ash of the dreams of my life. But, like a phoenix, I can rise again." Sweet opened for Paul Simon on tour in July and October 2006, and her debut album, We Are One, was released by the Razor and Tie label on March 6, 2007. Sweet was the highest-charting indie label artist at the AC format in 2007 with airplay audience well exceeding 80 million. In October 2006, Sweet released an EP from which the songs We Are One and Ready For Love have been used on episodes of two daytime dramas, the NBC TV Series Passions and the ABC TV Series One Life to Live, respectively. We Are One was also featured on the NBC series Las Vegas in the spring of 2007.

Kelly Sweet - We Are One AKA Haliene
Didn't need to ask
Don't know the reason
Everything that I believe
Is right here
Not thinkin' bout tomorrow
Couldn't catch it if I tried
World is spinning too fast
So I'll wait 'til it comes to me
I am you
You are me
We are one
Take me in your arms
And flow through me
I'll flow through you
Steal my breath away
Cause I'm so moved by you
Deeper than I ever thought
Was possible, was possible, it's everything, oh
Difference between me and you
It's all in where your heart lies
And every day's another chance
So let's get it right
I am you
You are me
We are one
Take me in your arms
And flow through me
I'll flow through you
Did you lose yourself out there
Did you lose faith and give up
Don't turn away and hide yourself
Cause there's a friend to make along the way
We are the heartbeat and our souls speak
And all the beauty I have ever dreamed
Is right here in front of me, oh
Is right here in front of me, oh
I am you
And you are me
We are one
Take me in your arms
And flow through me
I'll flow through you
On May 26, 2017, Sweet released a collaborative science fiction-influenced trance album, Blueprint with Dutch DJ Ferry Corsten on his label Flashover Recordings. William Black - Deep Blue (Lyrics) ft. Monika Santucci
William Black is a DJ and producer from Orange County, California who discovered his passion for music at a young age. He fell in love with the EDM world and the idea of producing when he attended his first rave at age 16, and soon after attended Icon Collective in Los Angeles. Since his first remix of Adventure Club's "Thunderclap" about two years ago, William has earned support from artists including Adventure Club, Gareth Emery, NGHTMRE, Slander, Illenium, and more. Just this year alone, William has released various singles including "Letting Go" featuring Park Avenue and "I Wish" featuring SKYLR. As far as remixes go, his take on "Senses" by Prismo along with BLU J's "Safe" featuring Matthew Chaim have gained widespread attention. He has also performed a handful of shows around the United States with Illenium and Said the Sky, as well as a few solo shows including his performance at Das Energi 2017.
All of this hard work and emotion over the last few years has transformed into his most recent single, "Here At Last". For this track, William worked with electronic due Rico & Miella to produce a beautiful, exciting new melody that has received over 13,000 Soundcloud streams in only one day. This feel-good song begins by fading in to the soft harmonies of the duo. Percussion is gradually added in as the track picks up pace, and the vocals crescendo into a delightful chorus full of synths and vocal chops. The rhythm slows back down momentarily until brought right back up into another enchanting chorus. William does an amazing job of combining his unique production skills with the vocals of Rico & Miella to create a simply stunning, multi-dimensional track that listeners of various genres will love.

Watching you for love
Dreams, where I am fading
Fading

Wasting all your time

Feels like I'm dreaming
Like I'm walking
Walking by your side
Keeps on repeating
Repeating
So free my mind, all the talking
Wasting all your time

If you want me
If you need me

I'll make it right again
"But it's no use," you said
As my hunger grows and grows
I have to write the meaning of my life
Or else everything's in vain
When the glory tries to tempt you
It may seem like what you need
But if glory makes you happy
Why are you so broken up?
So tell me how it felt when you walked on water?
Did you get your wish?
Floating to the surface
Quicker than you sank
Idol, idol
So tell me how it felt when you walked on water?
Did you get your wish?
Floating to the surface
Quicker than you sank
Idol, idol
Don't say you lose just yet
Get up and move ahead
And not only for yourself
'Cause that's your role:
The work that stirred your soul
You can make for someone else
One day you choke, your urges overflow
And obsession wears you down
But don't you waste the suffering you've faced
It will serve you in due time
So tell me how it felt when you walked on water?
Did you get your wish?
Floating to the surface
Quicker than you sank
Idol, idol
So tell me how it felt when you walked on water
Did you get your wish?
Floating to the surface
Quicker than you sank
Idol, idol
So tell me...
Entirely self-taught, Robinson began producing at the age of 12. While posting his early music on online forums he met future collaborator Madeon, who was using the aliases "Daemon" and "Wayne Mont". From 2005 to 2010, under the alias "Ekowraith", he released "hands up" music via YAWA Recordings. Robinson then began producing music that he called "complextro", adding classically inspired melodies and complicated fills to his music. Starting to release music under his own name in 2010, Robinson released a variety of original singles on Glamara Records and Big Fish Recordings. One of his most notable releases was "Say My Name", which reached number one on Beatport, launching Robinson into the mainstream dance music world. Eighteen at the time, Robinson started achieving international notice, catching the eye of dubstep producer Skrillex. Robinson's early influences include video gaming music, in particular, Dance Dance Revolution. He is a major fan of anime and Japanese culture, and incorporates these elements into his music. He has stated that he originally attempted to emulate the music that he heard in Japanese games, which stemmed to producing, and then to performing as a DJ.

"Mirror"
Well, you were the aftermath
Of every judgement
So cold by the sweat that
You'll waste away
And you carry your enemies
But they're so familiar
I'm sick of the company
So I cull the shame
And I know you'll say how I'm a burden
Yeah, do your worst, all at once
I know what you want from me (from me)
I know what you're thinking
And it's not the voice of all the others
You've only said it to yourself
I know what you want from me (from me)
I know what you're thinking
(They come to feel like things we're saying to ourselves)
An inch from my ears again
You should be sorry
A solemn man
A better song could fix my problems
I'm tired of your questioning
You're cut down too easily
And I don't know what's good for me
I can't decide
And I know you'll say how I'm a burden
Yeah, do your worst, all at once
I know what you want from me (from me)
I know what you're thinking
And though they sound like one another
You've only said it to yourself
I know what you want from me (from me)
I know what you're thinking
(Now these voices have become our own)
An inch from my ears again
You should be sorry
A solemn man
A better song could fix my problems
I'm tired of your questioning
You're cut down too easily
And I don't know what's good for me
I can't decide
And I know you'll say how I'm a burden
Yeah, do your worst, all at once
I know what you want from me (from me)
I know what you're thinking
And it's not the voice of all the others
You've only said it to yourself
I know what you want from me (from me)
I know what you're thinking
And I know you'll say how I'm a burden
Yeah, do your worst, all at once
I know what you want from me (from me)
I know what you're thinking
And though they sound like one another
You've only said it to yourself
I know what you want from me (from me)
I know what you're thinking
Robinson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and currently resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He was accepted into UNC, where both of his parents are alumni, but did not attend himself due to his newly launched music career. He is the second of four boys in his family. His older brother, Nick, is a former video producer at video game website Polygon, and runs a successful YouTube channel to over 800,000 subscribers. Porter's younger brothers are named Robert and Mark. He has stated that he is very close friends with fellow DJs and record producers Madeon and Dillon Francis. Robinson has stated that he did not release or produce any new music in 2015 due to suffering from depression.
Robinson was nominated for the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for his single "Ghost Voices". At the inaugural Electronic Music Awards in 2017, he was nominated for Single of the Year and Live Act of the Year, both with Madeon, for the single "Shelter" and the Shelter Live Tour, respectively. His other accolades include 5th place in DJ Times' 2013 ranking for America's Best DJ, 7th in the Billboard 21 under 21 list, topping InTheMix's 25 under 25 list, and winning the 2015 MTVU artist of the Year. Robinson also made DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list for seven consecutive years.
During Robinson's "Language Tour", he continually began to grow tired of the current dance music scene, centered around formulaic songs with timed builds and beat drops, designed to excite people at festivals and clubs. Robinson stated, “The more I forced myself to work within those DJ-friendly limits, the more I resented the genre.” He then spent the next year or so working on a new album and live show, of which he stated, "...when I do change the style of my show into the live thing I'm going to do later this year, I want the shift in focus to be clear."

"Sad Machine"
Is anyone there?
Oh-
Hi!
Who survived?
Somebody new?
Anyone else but you?
On a lonely night
Was a blinding light
A hundred leaders would be borne of you
And though I know, since you've awakened her again
She depends on you, she depends on you
She'll go alone, and never speak of this again
We depend on you, we depend on you
And though I know, since you've awakened her again
She depends on you, she depends on you
She'll go alone, and never speak of this again
We depend on you, we depend (I'll depend on you)
Hi!
I don't know much about your life beyond these walls
The fleeting sense of love within these God-forsaken halls
And I can hear it in his voice, in every call
This girl who's slept a hundred years has something after all
And though I know, since you've awakened her again
She depends on you, she depends on you
I'll go alone, and never speak of you again
We depend on you, we depend on you
And though I know since you've awakened her again
She depends on you, she depends on you
She'll go alone, and never speak of this again
We depend on you, we depend on you
And though I know since you've awakened her again
She depends on you, she depends on you
She'll go alone, and never speak of this again
We depend on you, we depend (I'll depend on you)
Hi!
Porter's debut studio album Worlds was released through Astralwerks and Virgin EMI on August 12, 2014. The album focused more on melodies to invoke a sense of nostalgia, juxtaposing the percussive bass driven tracks he had released previously. Robinson collaborated with multiple vocalists and musical groups including Urban Cone, Lemaitre, Breanne Dürenberger, and Amy Millan. He made his official vocal debut on the single "Sad Machine". The Vocaloid software voice, Avanna, was also used as a vocalist for this single.[35] Robinson then embarked on the Worlds tour, a new live show that involved him singing, playing synthesizers, and triggering samples, supported by artists Giraffage and Lemaitre. The tour headlined popular music festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, Daisy Carnival, and Coachella. A remix album of Worlds titled Worlds Remixed was released on October 2, 2015. It included remixes by electronic artists Odesza, San Holo, Mat Zo, Electric Mantis, Galimatias, Last Island, Chrome Sparks, Deon Custom, Rob Mayth, Point Point, Sleepy Tom, and Slumberjack.

On January 31, 2016, Robinson announced on his Twitter account that he was producing new material after being "stuck" for a year and a half. On August 11, he released "Shelter", a collaboration with fellow musician and friend Hugo Leclercq, better known by his stage name Madeon. An animated music video was released for "Shelter" on October 18, animated by A-1 Pictures and jointly produced by Robinson, A-1 Pictures, and Crunchyroll. Robinson and Leclercq then embarked on a nearly year-long joint international tour dubbed the "Shelter Live Tour", where the two performed live shows onstage together, with supporting acts from Danger, Robotaki, and Han Holo.
On October 25, 2017, Robinson released a new single titled "Eon Break" under the alias Virtual Self, announced via his Twitter page. A music video was also released on Robinson's YouTube channel, containing abstract three-dimensional art and cryptic messages seemingly focusing on the words "angel", "virtual", "void", and "utopia". Virtual Self-released a second single on November 8, 2017, titled "Ghost Voices". A music video for "Ghost Voices" was released on February 28, 2018 via Robinson's YouTube channel. Virtual Self-released a self-titled EP on November 29, 2017. Virtual Self held a debut live performance on December 8, 2017 in Brooklyn, New York City. Virtual Self shows continued in 2018, with appearances at multiple festivals including Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Bonnaroo, followed by three Europe shows and a two-month North American "UTOPiA SySTEM" tour. Robinson also released Angel Voices on July 20, 2018, a happy-hardcore infused remix of Ghost Voices.
In January 2019, it was announced that Ghost Voices was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording marking Robinson's first nomination. Robinson celebrated the accomplishment by playing three Virtual Self sets in Los Angeles before the awards ceremony. In a statement to Billboard Dance, Robinson says he discovered the nomination through Twitter of all places. At the time, he hadn't even realized "Ghost Voices" was submitted for consideration. "I was ecstatic, to be honest...I basically found out from Twitter...I just never once considered it as a real possibility at all...something about how vastly it exceeded my expectations," he said. And he added "It was really gratifying." On March 4, 2019, Robinson announced Multiverse Music Festival, a one-day festival in Oakland, California featuring a self-curated lineup and co-presented by Goldenvoice, slated for June 15th in Middle Harbor Shoreline Park. The name of the festival was changed to Second Sky Music Festival four days later due to complaints from local promoters that had organized a fest in Oakland with a similar name the previous year. A second day was added during presale due to tickets for the original date selling out rapidly, sharing all but one act from the first day's lineup. Robinson stated in an interview with Pollstar that "The main reason I wanted to do an artist-curated festival is I have this fantasy of there being a place where all of my favorite music can coexist."
Shortly after announcing Second Sky's lineup, Robinson announced another Virtual Self show, a series of six DJ sets under his own name, and later, two more Virtual Self appearances. In June 2019, Robinson's organization, The Robinson Malawi Fund, donated $154,000 to patients with Burkitt Lymphoma in Malawi using money raised by the Second Sky Music Festival and matched donations from Robinson. On March 10, 2020, Porter released the second single on his album, titled "Something Comforting", a music video was released on March 25, 2020. On May 9, 2020, Porter Robinson teamed up with Recording Academy, donated $115,000 to MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund using money raised by the Secret Sky Online Music Festival. During said event, he unveiled a new song from his upcoming album, "Look at the Sky". On June 14, 2020, one day before his twenty-eighth birthday, Robinson announced that Nurture was on hold, but the album's rollout would resume the following day. The next day, the Anamanaguchi remix of "Get Your Wish" was released, and one week after the release of said remix, he released another remix under the name DJ Not Porter Robinson.

"Fresh Static Snow"
You'd fit perfectly to me,
We'd end our loneliness,
Melt this curse away
Though I'll never know your name
I'll cry for you the same
[4x]
Melt this curse away
Cry for you the same
The frozen white noise static snow
That is your memory
Although I know we'll never meet
You're ever part of me
You'd fit perfectly to me,
We'd end our loneliness,
Melt this curse away
Though I'll never know your name
I've cried for you the same
On August 12, 2020, the sixth anniversary of the release of his Worlds album, Robinson uploaded a live edit of his song "Shepherdess", which was played during his Worlds Live shows. Daniel Goldstein, better known by his stage name Lane 8, is an American musician, electronic music producer, and DJ. Currently residing in Denver, Colorado, he is currently signed to English deep house label Anjunadeep. Pete Tong named Lane 8 a "Future Star" and Dancing Astronaut included him in their '25 Artists to Watch in 2015'. His debut studio album Rise, was released on July 17, 2015. More recently he has been releasing music via his own label This Never Happened. The Lane 8 moniker originated back when Goldstein made garage rock with his sister when they were kids. He later started experimenting with hip-hop beats after being influenced by Pete Rock and DJ Premier. At some point in 2012, "Lane 8 really found his groove with his sound fitting between pulsing electronica and a woozier kind of glitch-pop" putting him on the radar of Anjunadeep A&R executive Jody Wisternoff. In 2013, he signed to Anjunadeep, where he released his debut album in the summer of 2015. He has previously described his sound as "dreamy back rub house." Lane 8 launched the This Never Happened tour in 2016. Attendees are prohibited from recording the shows with cell phones or cameras on the basis of encouraging attendees to be present. In 2017, Lane 8 began hosting This Never Happened Summer Gatherings, daytime events in unique outdoor venues. After releasing music on SoundCloud in 2014, Lane 8 rose to wider prominence through the Anjunadeep label, and his 2015 debut album Rise.
On April 27, 2015, Lane 8 announced his plans to release his debut studio album, Rise on Anjunadeep. The album features vocal appearances from Solomon Grey, Patrick Baker, and Ghostly International's Matthew Dear, among others. The lead single, "Ghost" featuring Patrick Baker, was released alongside the album announcement and Vice Media's Noisey premiered the song's music video, directed by filmmaker DEMS on May 12. Following suit with the unveiling of the single, a "Ghost" remix EP was announced via an exclusive stream from Thump. The EP features "a diverse collection of artists like Audion (an alias of Matthew Dear), Bwana, Luvian, and even Lane 8 himself" with styles "ranging from techno to flowing progressive house, in four very captivating interpretations of the original track." On May 14, Billboard premiered the Audion remix which "trades the original's beatless melodies and lonely lead synth line for a tribal groove that provides an edgy backdrop to Patrick Baker's longing lyrics." The second single from the album, "Hot As You Want", was premiered by Spin on June 1st, they described it as a "lovely 4/4 anthem" and "sublimely aching track." On January 19, 2018, Lane 8 released his second studio album, Little by Little, to digital stores through This Never Happened. On January 10, 2020, Lane 8 released his third studio album, Brightest Lights. The album features several appearances from the American synth-pop band POLIÇA, among other collaborators.
