On the success of the album, Shola Ama won a Brit Award for Best British Female and two MOBO Awards for Best Newcomer and Best R&B Act. In 1999, Shola Ama released her second album In Return. The project saw her working with the record producers Fred Jerkins III, Stargate, Shaun Labelle, Full Crew, D-Influence Productions and

She also mentored her sister Sadie Ama, who signed her own recording contract and released "So Sure" (2004) and "Fallin" (2007). Shola Ama featured as vocalist on the Perempay & Dee single "DJ Play". The song was released in October 2009 and received heavy rotation on the radio. She also featured on one of rapper Giggs' songs, "Cut Above the Rest", and later featured on the bonus disc to his album, Let Em Ave It, on a song called "Blow Em Away".

[Dr Dre]

Wit no cheese, no deals and no G's, no wheels and no keys
No boats, no snowmobiles and no ski's

Got a crib wit a studio and it's all full of tracks
To add to the wall full of plaques
Hangin up in the office in back of my house like trophies
But ya'll think I'm gonna let my dough freeze
Ho Please
You better bow down on both knees
Who you think taught you to smoke trees
Who you think brought you the o' G's
Eazy-E's Ice Cube's and D.O.C's and Snoop D O double G's
And a group that said m____fuck the police
Gave you a tape full of dope beats
To b__p when stroll through in your hood
And when your album sales wasn't doin too good
Who's the doc that he told you to go see
Ya'll better listen up closely
All you n____s that said that I turned pop
Or the Firm flop

[chorus x2 - Eminem]
Nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got something to say
But nothin comes out when they move they lips
Just a buncha gibberish
And m____fuckas act like they forgot about Dre
[Eminem]
So what do you say to somebody you hate
Or anybody tryna bring trouble your way
Wanna resolve things in a bloodier way
Just study your tape of NWA.
One day I was walkin by
Wit a walkmen on
When I caught a guy givin me an awkward eye
And strangled him off in the parkin lot wit his Karl Kani
I don't give a f___ if it's dark or not
I'm harder than me tryna park a Dodge
But I'm drunk as f___
Right next to a humungous truck in a two car garage
Hoppin out wit two broken legs tryna walk it off
f___ you too b____ call the cops
I'ma kill you and them loud a__ m____fuckin barkin dogs
And when the cops came through
Me and Dre stood next to a burnt down house
Wit a can full of gas and a hand full of matches
And still weren't found out
From here on out it's the Chronic 2
Startin today and tomorrows the new
And I'm still loco enough
To choke you to death wit a Charleston chew
[Record scratch]
Slim shady hotter then a set of twin babies
In a Mercedes Benz wit the windows up
And the temp goes up to the mid 80's
Callin men ladies
Sorry Doc but I been crazy
There is no way that you can save me
It's ok go with him Hailey
[chorus x2]
[Dr Dre]
If it was up to me
You m____fuckas would stop comin up to me
Wit your hands out lookin up to me
Like you want somethin free
When my last cd was out you wasn't b__pin me
But now that I got this little company
Everybody wanna come to me like it was some disease
But you won't get a crumb from me
Cause I'm from the streets of Compton
I told em all
All them little gangstas
Who you think helped mold 'em all
Now you wanna run around and talk about guns
Like I ain't got none
What you think I sold 'em all
Cause I stay well off
Now all I get is hate mail all day sayin Dre fell off
What cause I been in the lab wit a pen and a pad
Tryna get this d___ label off
I ain't havin that
This is the millenium of Aftermath
It ain't gonna be nothin after that
So give me one more platinum plaque and f___ rap
You can have it back
So where's all the mad rappers at
It's like a jungle in this habitat
But all you savage cats
Knew that I was strapped wit gats
When you were cuddled wit cabbage patch

Culture Beat - No Deeper Meaning (Club Mix) 1991
"No Deeper Meaning"
Too tough to be denied got to keep my stride
As I take you for a ride
The rhythm and the beat and the rhyme must coincide
Be rehearsed and tired
Can't come off soft I gotta come off
I like the spotlight like a moth
Enjoy being seen but I have to stay correct
To be the man that you select
The one you choose when the blues begins to confuse
All your dent's and do's
I make the rules and I am setting the path
Stating my case while I move the place
Gonna win the race and I'll tell you face to face
The J is the ace
Possessing all the elements that are needed
And you can't beat it
No no no I don't want a deeper meaning
In any song I'm dancing to
No no no I don't want a deeper meaning
All I want to do is dance with you
Let's take a stroll get on a roll
What I'm talking about is to fold body and soul
I gotta grip so grab a hold
If you think that I can fit the mold
Never ending no pretending or descending
We're gonna rock from the beginning
Party full speed ahead
Wake the dead
You gotta dish those lead
Feet that make you walk like a person that stutters talk
You gotta be swift like the hawk
Forever on the dancefloor drenched in sweat
Cause I'm the man the set
The stage threw you into a rage
Took you out your cage and out you into a daze
Now you're out there dipping not slipping
And I'm through hipping
Culture Beat is a German Eurodance project formed in 1989 by Torsten Fenslau. The act has gone through a number of line-up changes over the years; they achieved the most success whilst fronted by singer Tania Evans and rapper Jay Supreme. Their 1993 single "Mr Vain" was a smash hit and number one record in thirteen European countries, and the song is thought to have sold in excess of 10 million copies throughout the nations.
Torsten Fenslau, who initially had a desire for becoming an architect, had been working as a DJ at the Frankfurt nightclub Dorian Grey for 11 years, when he decided to form Culture Beat with his friends Jens Zimmermann and Peter Zweier. Their first single, the track "Der Erdbeermund", with a spoken vocal in German by Jo van Nelsen, peaked at number 11 on the German singles chart. Versions in English and French were also released (titled "Cherry Lips" and "Les lèvres cerises", respectively). An instrumental version was also a club hit in the United Kingdom, where it reached number 55.

Shortly afterwards, Culture Beat recruited American, New Jersey-born rapper Jay Supreme and singer Lana Earl to front the act. While the second single "I Like You" reached number 22 in the Netherlands, their fourth single "No Deeper Meaning" managed to reach as high as number 4 in the Netherlands and number 3 on the Canadian RPM Dance Chart. They released their first album, Horizon, in 1991 which went with only minor success. Lana was replaced by British singer Tania Evans in 1993, and the act took a harder Eurodance sound. "Mr Vain" became their biggest hit to date, reaching number one in 13 countries including Germany, Australia and the United Kingdom. It was also their first mainstream hit in the United States, peaking at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was certified three times Gold in Germany for selling over 750,000 units, it also managed to reach a Gold status in several other countries including US.

Subsequent singles "Got to Get It" and "Anything" were also pan-European hits, and their second album Serenity was awarded at the ECHO award for being the Best-selling German Act Abroad, with more than two million copies sold. This also got Torsten Fenslau nominated in the same year at the Echo for being the Best Producer of the Year, who also walked away as a winner. On 6th November 1993, Culture Beat's founder Torsten Fenslau was killed in a car accident in Messel (district of Darmstadt) at age of 29. His brother Frank took over the act as a manager. The group returned the act in 1995 with a third album called Inside Out, preceded by a single of the same title "Inside Out" which reached number 5 in Germany and number 32 in the UK.

In 1997, Frank decided to take Culture Beat into a different musical direction diverging the act from the Eurodance sound into a more commercial pop sound. He also replaced Tania with Kim Sanders, who had previously scored a hit with "Impossible" by former Soldier "Captain Hollywood Projects Tony Dawson-Harrison.
Jay Supreme remained with the act for a short time after Tania's departure, but during recording of the next album he decided to leave the group and the rap vocals on the next album (only a few tracks contained rap) were produced by rapper Next Up. Although, in 1998, the album Metamorphosis managed to reach number 12 at home, it was a minor chart success as it remained in the top 20 of the album chart for only four weeks, and spent overall 10 weeks appearing on the chart.
MIKE OLDFIELD-SENTINEL (LIVE)
Mike Oldfield Sentinel live
Mike Oldfield is a widely received music legend, born in Reading, Berkshire, England on 15 May 1953. Oldfield is a multi-instrumentalist, having featured several kinds of guitars, keyboards, percussion instruments, plucked idiophones and many other instruments in his albums. In addition to his efforts to include a wide range of instruments in his songs, Oldfield prefers a diverse approach to music, complementing his tracks with effects and influences from a number of genres, such as rock, folk, world, electronic and ambient. In a career spanning well over four decades, Oldfield has produced close to twenty albums.
Mike Oldfield
Born in a family with parents who practiced medicine, Oldfield had siblings who admired music just as much as him, leading him to pursue a compositional career. He went to local schools and had no prior knowledge in music before attempting a first effort in professional production. Oldfield first began playing music in a duo with his sister, called The Sallyangie, producing an album along the way. Not long after, they disbanded and Oldfield chose to join his brother in an effort to form a long-lasting and commercially successful duo. This, too, was not to be. In the early 1970s, Oldfield made headlines after composing a stunning instrumental album, called Tubular Bells. An effort that had many phases and took years to process, Tubular Bells was a landmark production and top charted the UK billboard for a considerable period of time. In the following years, he worked on Ommadawn (1975) and Incantations (1978), which were some of his first attempts to include diverse themes in to his music. Around the same time, Oldfield’s versions of Christmas piece “In Dulci Jubilo” and “Portsmouth”, continued to build his fame and popularity amongst the UK music enthusiasts. Such was his popularity that even the Prince of Wales requested Oldfield to compose a tune for his wedding, named “Royal Wedding Anthem”.
In the 1980s, Oldfield became obsessed with pop music, themes of which were clearly visible in the next few albums and singles. One of the most celebrated single of the time was “Moonlight Shadow”, a joint effort with Maggie Reilly in 1983. Oldfield also became interested in song writing and composing tracks for film, one of these included The Killing Fields. Another famous album of the time was Islands (1987), with songs such as “Magic Touch” providing the perfect example of Oldfield’s unique approach of merging rock and instrumental aspects of contemporary music. In the early 1990s, he released the sequel to his hit 1973 album, Tubular Bells. This was followed by a string of albums, all exploring very different sides of music. One of the most popular ones was the celtic genre inspired Voyager (1995) with the ambient cover of a Celtic band called “The Sound of Air”. Oldfield defined his intrigue of merging and exploring different themes of music in his 1999 album Guitars, where he used guitars as the sole instrument to produce all sounds of the other instruments commonly used in production.
In 2005, Mike Oldfield attempted to produce a two-part album, Light + Shade, with the intention to depict two separate moods in the songs. This highlighted the sheer intensity surrounding his music, and his constant efforts to provide a new depiction of traditional classical music. All in all, his work has been widely received, building a large international audience overtime.
