In this most recent series of sculptures the artist goes further, combining glass with another ancient material with a famous history in Italy: marble. Sculpted in Carrara the majestic marble busts provide the perfect base for the Belgian artist to begin his radical explorations of form in glass. Familiar figures, mythical gods and heroes are recast anew, extended and decorated with elaborate glass details, all handblown by the maestros under the expert direction of Vanmechelen. The stern stoicism of the classical world is reinvigorated and reignited through the sculptural additions in glass. In the eye’s of the artist it is a medium that looks forward: “Glass is the material of the future,” he noted, “It is both recyclable and mouldable. And it invites connection and teamwork, merging creativity and craftsmanship.”

Austro-American DJ / Producer Rodney Hunter is dead-on when he says that he's been "around the block" more than once. Known for unifying different genres from funk to electro, midtempo to house, dub to hip hop to his very own "Hunter sound". His musical career spans 25 years, starting off as a an under aged member of the legendary Hip Hop Formation "Moreaus" along side Peter Kruder, DJ DSL and Sugar B in 1988, leading him to launching his own label and production company (Uptight / BMG) in 1994. Due to the massive success of Rodney's first production (Leena Conquest - Boundaries, 1994), Rodney instantly established to a world-class producer and travelled around the globe to produce acts for Forth & Broadway, Island Records,Gee Street Records and BMG. In 1997 Rodney received a Grammy nomination with Uptight productions. In 1998 Rodney presented his Vienna based hip hop project 'Aphrodelics, whom the first major released single (Rolling on chrome) stormed the German Sales Charts (top 30), till today this song is handled as the electronic hip hop blueprint and an all time classic.. After a few years of big major global business, Rodney started to get back into DJing and more in to club music. "I have always loved club music and wanted to expand my horizons." Since then Rodney has played extensively across the globe and has proved on more than one occasion that he is 'The Vienna sound machine'.

“To the Stars and Back” was something I wrote because I’ve had the opportunity to experience an unconditional love. A quick moment to think inward, brought me to the realisation that a poetic way to explain how much you love someone, one could say ‘to the stars and back’ and thus, a catchy hook was born!”
Astra originally sent the song to Sergiio looking for his talk box expertise as the two had collaborated before on Astra’s single ‘Hot Summer Love’. Once again, Sergiio added his talk box parts but this time, Sergiio delivered a verse that couldn’t be ignored.
“I’ve been doing a lot of work as a talk box artist, but always wanted to showcase that I could also sing. A lot of people in my circle have been pushing me to start singing more and when I heard this record, the verse immediately came to me and I sent it to Jordan with the hopes that he’d love it, and he did!”
‘To the Stars and Back’ is Jordans first record of 2022 following the success of the previous year with ‘No Time To Waste’ featuring Four and ‘According To You’ featuring Misha and Kapok both garnering great attention being added to over 10 editorial playlists and getting national airplay on the famous ‘Triple J’ in Australia.
